Description

Like wine and cheese and burgers and fries, chocolate and mint is a famous partnership in the world of food, found in desserts and confections. We bring that popular flavor combination here, blended with green tea leaves to create a delicious, lip-smacking treat.

Story

The story of chocolate begins with Columbus' discovery of America. Cocoa beans were among the curiosities he brought back from his voyage. However, it wasn't until the conquest of Mexico that the Spaniards learned of "chocolatl," a drink made from cocoa beans that the Aztecs served Cortez and his troops. The Spaniards found the drink bitter. And began adding other ingredients to sweeten its taste. Cane sugar, vanilla and nutmeg were all tried. Once the leaves of mint were added, a true classic was born.

"This one smells awesome, but I do not think the flavor quite delivers. Chocolate and mint work well together in this tea, but the green tea aroma adds something disturbing. It might be me, but I just cannot appreciate this fully with those green tea flavors floating around ..."

"The aroma is wonderful, the cocoa flavor is a little overpowering, though. I will finish it but I probably will not order it again. "

"I love the smell of this tea when it is brewing. The taste is pretty good too. What is really nice is the smell of the used tea leaves... very cocominty aroma."

"This tea has a very odd smell to it. Luckily the taste is nowhere as pronounced as it smells."

"I didn't like this one. The flavors just clashed. It tasted a little like chocolate covered seaweed."

"I'm not normally a fan of green tea, but the cocomint flavor of this one overpowers the typical grassy taste. It took a few tries to develop a taste for this one, and I find that a little chocolate soy milk makes it a little richer. "
