The mint seems to be really great for my digestive system, but I wasn't as thrilled about how the flavor tastes overall.

UPDATING: This one has really grown on me since my initial review. When I don't know what to make to bring to work, this is often the one I choose. Maybe it isn't as minty as that oolong I tried to replace, but it's quite nice in its own right.

I was looking to replace a chocolate mint oolong by another company when I bought this tea. It's actually quite nice. Could stand to be a tiny bit mintier, but it's a good green!

I really like this one, Im finding the different combinations with mint/cocoa/chocolate are to my liking very much...(minus the roobios one)

this is a family favorite tea. My brother and mother also really enjoy this tea, I drink it frequently and my only complaint is it's not strong enough for me at the ratio on the bag. I prefer two full teaspoons for one 8oz cup, and i make sure I don't overstep this green tea. Definitely and different tea experience.

This is a pretty good tea, and I typically like anything with mint. There was less coco taste than I expected, and maybe the green tea made it less robust. I might try a longer steep or a bit more loose tea in bag next time.

If you don’t love chocolate but are always the person that hordes the Andes mints, this is for you! I was weary when I smelled just how chocolatey the mix was, but this tea gets more delicate and delicious as it cools. The kiss of chocolate pairs really well with the hint bitterness, and the mint rounds everything out really well. Really happy I gave this a try!

This cocomint green tea is not what I was expecting. The mint is a bit overpowering and the cocoa nibs don't really get there for me, I was wanting a bit more cocoa flavor. I did add some cocoa powder 1/4 tsp to a 14 oz cup and that hit the spot.

★★★★★

It’s hard to find a good chocolate mint flavored green tea. This is a good one.

This is one of the rare times I've enjoyed a green tea. With the chocolate and mint, it was like a light peppermint mocha.

Absolutely loved the flavor of this one! Neither the chocolate nor the mint were too strong, just powerful enough to come through.

Gentle flavor really works here. This flavor is like a lighter version of my 2nd favorite hot chocolate flavor. The chocolate notes and the mint are both light, but still present. The mint is much lighter than some others who give that cooling sensation on the finish. The green base is such a good one for this blend as like the rest it shows up, but is not overly bold or strong. Added nothing to cup, found texture and sweetness just right by itself. 180° 3 min

CommuniTEA sample: 3 min @ 180 F. I was skeptical that this one would work, but it did! The natural bitterness of the cocoa nibs plays really well with the bitterness of the green tea, and the vegetal nature of the green tea plays really well with the herbal aspects of the peppermint. It's sweet, but not overwhelming, and you primarily taste the green tea. But the aroma is definitely pleasant and strong, full of chocolate and mint. It has a cooling sensation, and a very soft mouth feel. I was able to get two infusions out of it!

I always want to like this tea when I try it because the aroma is so strong and enticing (despite being pretty artificial), but the brew always seems to lose something between being steeped and being sipped. The mint is there for sure, but I feel as if the green tea lacks the body of flavor to really support any notes of chocolate which, unfortunately, just seem to get washed out at the end. If you enjoy sweet mint with a hint of chocolate roastiness and creaminess, this comes close, but not quite close enough for me.

It's more mint than coco, which is fine-- mint is always excellent when paired with green tea; add cream to this and it's extra delicious!

Love this tea! It’s the perfect blend of mint and chocolate. I look forward to having it every morning! already ordering a second bag!

Good. Lots of mint, not as much cocoa. However, if I were to reorder a mint tea, I'd get the citrus mint again. For some reason, I'm just not loving cocoa and mint with green tea.

This one is not to my taste. I'm a big mint chocolate person, but I don't think cocoa goes with green tea, makes it a bit too earthy for my taste.

The green tea allows the sweetness and minty nature of the coco and mint to come through very well. None of it overwhelms the other flavors, allowing them to mingle well.

Delicious, festive green tea option. I have been trying to drink more green tea but it is not my favorite. The chocolate mint flavoring really shines in this one making it a new holiday favorite.

This tea had an artificial quality that I didn’t like. Definitely tastes like mint chocolate though!

This is my go-to tea when I feel like having chocolate. Reminds me of a thinmint cookie but good for you because it is green tea! Good for a gathering of friends for afternoon tea. This is the green tea that the grandkids always want to sniff then drink. I'm glad I was asked to update my review, as this had fallen off my list of besties. So delicious, I'm going to order some right away!

The chocolate and mint in this tea blend really nicely together for a fresh and mellow tea. I really enjoy it on a rainy afternoon with a book.

Probably a new favorite. The chocolate and mint are perfectly balanced and not too intense. The flavor over all reminds me of the chocolate mint gum I used to chew all through high school so... Yay nostalgia or something.

I believe that this tea is my new favorite! It has the taste of chocolate and mint, I drink it as a hot tea.

This one worked for me! Some tasters mentioned the green being noticeably grassy but I tasted mostly mint with a bit of chocolate. I kept the temp low and did short steeps, if that helps anyone. 2 mins @ 175°

A chocolatey mint. Not as strong of a mint as I'm used to, but the chocolate is nice background flavor here

★★★★★

I get the chocolate mint candy vibe. I accidentally steeped mine until it was lukewarm. It is quite delicious this way.

This is a nice minty tea. Not a fan of the chocolate. But I enjoyed it much more than last year😊. It tasted like an Andes mint. I added honey. 😊

Def needed a little sweetener (I used coconut sugar) to bring out the flavor but then wow. I was dubious but it’s special.

4/6/24 Communitea: 180 for 3min with sweetener. Hmm. Well I like mint green, and I like chocolate mint, but... This isn't really a hit for me. Kind of tastes like I dropped a York peppermint patty in a pile of freshly cut grass. IMO it's lesser than the sum of its parts- I'd rather have the mint green tea and the chocolate separately than together.

★★★★☆

I will start by saying that I am a big fan of green tea. I also love mint in my tea. I'm not usually a fan of chocolate in tea, though. But, I enjoyed the peppermint patty flavor of this cup. I steeped it as directed and added turbinado for a sweetener.

April 6th 2024 REVIEW:
My past self, from last year, notated that this great tea was not too enjoyable...and that I should try this at lower temp. I tried this at the low, low temp of 160, actually...& steeped for two mins. I did *not* enjoy this particular tea, yet again, even at a lower temp. Ok, so, this tea has a tremendous aroma when coming out of the packet-- *Andes Mint Vibes* all the WAY! Once it steeps, the aroma just becomes an odd green tea aromatic vegetal scent mixed with light wafts of choc & mint. Not a scent mingling made in Heaven. The taste is 'ok' to me. I can see where someone would enjoy this as a unique green tea sip. But, it just wouldn't be something I would need in my stash. Some other Cocomint suggestions: Go for the superb Jeff Jackson's 'Cocomint' blend if you want caffeine--& also, Check out Rooibos Cocomint for caffeine-free goodness if you like a chocolate mint co-mingling together. ~~
Oct 5th 2023: A Review Posterity of my future self..I am not quite sure if I like Cocomint Green. Tried CCmint, in CommuniTEA today, 10/5/23. I would need to try it one more time to be sure, 100%, upon a final determination on an opinion-- yay or nay. Just gonna go with the middle ground of 3🌟's, for now. I found Cocomint to smell great, on the nose, in the packet..but after brewing at 180° for 4 mins--just, hmm, not great for the tongue. I will try 170° maybe even 160° for 2-3 mins next time. I found it weird and unpleasantly grassy...with little coco detected nor mint. ((and I *like* Green Teas, quite a bit!!)) 🤷‍♀️

This was an ok tea but I wouldn't try it again. The pack smelled like what it is, green with minty chocolate. The flavor results however was a weak minty chocolate flavor with a vegetal/ grassy understone. For some reason it reminded me of a mint chocolate chapstick I had as a kid but with a grassy finish.

This tastes like a slightly astringent green tea that's splashed with mint chocolate chip ice cream. I added some Splenda, made it double-strength, and iced it down. Really refreshing!

An excellent dessert tea for when your tummy is full but you're craving a taste of something sweet. For me, this is a perfect balance of mint and chocolate. And while I'm not usually a chocolate in tea fan, this has been one of the few to change my mind about it on occasion. This is like a very light Andes mint, and it's as good as a cup of hot cocoa on a snow day.

Pleasant light coco mint flavor! This is perfect to curb those holiday cravings for candy, specifically chocolate peppermint bark.

I like it, but not my favorite. I can taste the flavor of the green tea over everything else. I do taste the mint and the cocoa to be fair and that is why it is a 4 and not a 3. I do like it, but if it was a little more balanced, I would like it better. Maybe next time I brew it 2 min, instead of 3 at 180 and give you and update.
