Our shipping rates are very reasonable. US Mail (via FedEx Economy) is a flat $3.75, and FREE on most orders over $49. FedEx Ground is always $5.75. FedEx Next Day rates are calculated based on weight and distance. Orders placed by 3PM EST are shipped the same business day, ensuring a prompt and timely delivery of all of your packages. Orders placed after 3PM ship the following business day. We offer a tracking number to gauge progress. The map below offers estimates of days in transit for FedEx Ground.

Time in Transit
FedEx Economy shipments arrive in approximately 6 to 12 business days. Ground shipments arrive in 1 to 7 business days. The map above provides an estimate of days in transit for FedEx Ground. FedEx delivers Monday through Saturday.
Alaska & Hawaii
We're happy to ship orders to Alaska and Hawaii. The only caveat is that the shipping fee is higher than our domestic shipments. Since FedEx is not a viable option, we must ship AK and HI orders with Priority Mail, a more pricey option at $9.75 per order. Transit time is 5-7 business days, but may be longer during the holidays.
Incorrect and Old Addresses
If you make a mistake and enter an address that requires a correction, we'll gladly contact FedEx or USPS on your behalf to redirect your order. However, these services charge a $14 fee for intercepting a package already in transit, an amount we regretfully must pass on to you. To prevent this, please double check your order before submitting and please remove any addresses that are no longer valid from your account
details. This will prevent you from selecting them in error in the future.
Orders of $49 or more addressed to a physical location (sorry, no PO Boxes) within the contiguous United States qualify for free basic shipping (via FedEx Economy). The free shipping promotion may not be combined with others, including our Frequent Cups points. As such, Frequent Cups or other promotional certificates do not count towards the total required to earn free shipping. To earn free shipping when using a certificate, please ensure that your order total exceeds the $49 after applying the certificate to your order.
Returns & Claims
If you are unsatisfied with any product purchased in the last 30 days, please let us know your concerns. We'll do our best to make you happy. If you have received a damaged or incorrect sample of tea, please email us
. All teas and tea ware that have been opened and used incur a 35% disposal fee. If we made a mistake, we will pay for the return shipment. However, if the reason for your return is due to personal preference (i.e. you decided that herbals are not your cup of tea), you will be responsible for the cost of mailing the item back to us. Simply go to your account page, and select the items you wish to return to us. We will guide you through the process and will generate a return label. All items with the exception of sample pouches and all Signature/Fandom Blend teas are returnable. You will have a choice of received store credit, a refund on your credit card, or a replacement.
Shipments outside the United States are made with FedEx Cross Border. Transit time is 7-30 business days, but may be longer during the holidays. Please select your country from the drop-down menu below to see estimates of your shipping fees. If you have items in your shopping cart, we'll also provide the exact cost of shipping these.
Additional taxes or duties may be due upon delivery.
Covid-19 restrictions now preclude us from shipping to: Bermuda, Mauritius & New Zealand.
We'll gladly ship your order to a PO Box address with USPS for $7.75. FedEx delivery services cannot ship to PO Boxes.
FedEx Holiday Delays
We do our best to ensure that your holiday packages arrive in time by processing your orders as quickly as we can and handing them off to the carrier usually within one business day of receiving them. Unfortunately, FedEx has recently announced
that due to high volume, low staffing, and team safety that they are no longer guaranteeing estimated delivery windows for Economy, Ground, Second Day, and Next Day packages. We hope that your order is unaffected, but due to FedEx's policy we can no longer refund shipping costs for the reason of delayed or late delivery this holiday season. Remember to place your orders early to ensure timely arrival as transit times may take longer than expected.
