We apologize this item is temporarily out of stock. We are among the few companies to offer teas directly from origin. While this has the advantage of superior quality, the disadvantage is longer delivery times.

Estimated arrival date is the middle of September. We'll gladly drop you a note once the fresh batch is here. Please let us know where to mail it:

Description

This premium green tea flavored with summer cherries is a treat for any Chekhov fans musing in their cherry orchard, delectable both hot and cold. If you've never read Chekhov, it doesn't have a happy ending. If you'd never tried our Cherry tea, it'll make up for it.

Story

Cherries are believed to have been discovered in China about six-thousand years ago. Curiously enough, the name comes from Cerasus, a town in Turkey. The likely cause of this is the route these fruits travel on their way to Europe. Cherries figure prominently in the art and writings of the Roman conquerors, Greek citizens and Chinese emperors. After the discovery of the New World, cherries traveled to America along with early settlers. The bulk of the US crop now grows in the State of Michigan.

"I hated it, my wife loved it. It was too cough medicine like for my taste."

"I'm not a big fan of flavored teas, but this one was pretty good. It's a nice change from my normal go-to teas."

" Very good-- you can really taste cherry in the same manner as the Tea Table's cherry sencha. "

"This smells an 8eensy* bit like cough medicine, although it tastes fine. The smell is strong enough to be distracting if it's not blended with something (and a little tricky to blend)"

"Cherry smell and flavor is very apparent. Very good as iced tea with a hint of sugar or other sweetener."

"I bought a small tin of this to try. I'm glad it's a small one because none of us are very excited about it. While I would drink it if someone offered it to me, I would not choose it from an array of teas. The flavor was weak, without enough cherry fruitiness."
