Story
Cherries are believed to have been discovered in China about six-thousand years ago. Curiously enough, the name comes from Cerasus, a town in Turkey. The likely cause of this is the route these fruits travel on their way to Europe. Cherries figure prominently in the art and writings of the Roman conquerors, Greek citizens and Chinese emperors. After the discovery of the New World, cherries traveled to America along with early settlers. The bulk of the US crop now grows in the State of Michigan.
"It is difficult to say I do or do not like this tea. My friend tried it and fell in love with it, but I have tried the entire sample and I have had a several good and bad cups. I think if you try this tea you need to experiment with the steeping times because it makes a difference. I found it tastes a little better if you steep it a little longer than the recommendation."
"It doesn't have a fresh cherry taste. More like a fake candy taste. But still not too bad when you're in the mood for it."
"ugh god. This is the worst tea on earth. It tastes like lipstick and death."
"I love this tea. It's an awesome anytime sort of tea, and I'm about to pick up an 8oz tin of it. It resteeps beautifully, for as many cups of it as you want. I don't think it's that medicine-ish tasting, but it doesn't taste like any cherry I've ever had."
"Some people hated this tea but I liked it. It does have a strong cherry taste but I was almost addicted to cherry flavor lifesavers so It wasn't too much for me."
"My least favorite flavored green. I am going to try to blend with other teas to make something more pleasing."
