A soft, gentle blend brings to mind strawberries and cream, perhaps a large scoop of strawberry ice cream you enjoyed as a child on a hot day, or maybe when you had a particularly painful orthodontic appointment. Oh, the nostalgia of your early days...

Edaphosaurus is famous for being one of the earliest large amniote tetrapods. One of the earliest edaphosaurids was Ianthasaurus, a very small synapsid whose teeth were hardly useful. Many people confuse this genus with its distant carnivorous relative Dimetrodon, due to the large back sail, but Edaphosaurus was a gentle herbivore which was probably preyed on by Dimetrodon. Its back sail may have been used for camouflage, defense, temperature control, or sexual display.
