Like the dance that inspired its name, our Foxtrot tea is an overnight success that will leave you giddy with joy. It is an herbal cocktail of Egyptian chamomile, South African rooibos (with a touch of vanilla) and fresh peppermint. A soothing blend of familiar tastes that produces a pleasantly original combination. It's entirely caffeine-free, but you'll still have a spring in your step from the delightful, delicately clean and sweet flavor.
This tea contains no caffeine | Steep at 212° for 5-10 minutes.
Our teabags contain the same high-quality tea as our loose-tea offerings. Their pyramid shape gives the leaves plenty of room to unfurl and infuse, placing more flavor in each cup. Enjoy the superior flavor of gourmet tea with the convenience of a disposable bag.
The Foxtrot dance originated with the vaudeville actor Harry Fox. The New York Theater was being converted into a movie house in 1914 and decided to add vaudeville acts between shows. Harry Fox was asked to put on a dancing act. Part of it included trotting steps performed to ragtime music. The people who saw it began referring to it as 'Fox's Trot.' And soon, all the dance masters in New York were advertising foxtrot lessons. The dance is characterized by long, gliding and perfectly smooth steps.
