Ingredients & Lore

blended with ginger, green rooibos tea, red peppercorn, natural ginger flavor, black peppercorn, orange, marigold flowers, strawberries, natural peach flavor, natural strawberry flavor & natural orange flavor

Ginger is indigenous to southern China, from where it spread to the Spice Islands and other parts of Asia. Chinese herbalists continue to call upon ginger to expel cold and restore depleted yang. In the Middle Ages, ginger was brought to Europe by the Arabic traders. At the time, it was primarily used for ginger tea, said to be effective in fighting colds and flu. During Victorian times, shakers of ginger were as common a table accessory as salt and pepper. Today, India is the largest producer of this yang-inducing herb.
