Ginger is a plant with a thick, pronged root. It is popular for both its supposed health effects and its peppery flavor, which is used in food and drinks all over the world. In India, it is used in curries, teas, coffees, and sweets. In Japan, it is pickled and served as a sushi side. In the Caribbean and the West, ginger adds a kick to sweeter flavors like breads and cookies and drinks like ginger beer. Of course, no matter where you live, if you're looking for a drink with extra punch, our Double Ginger will fit the bill.

The ingredients would lead me to believe this tea is very spicy. How spicy do you think it is?

“ I don't feel it is spicy, persay. The ginger is definitely there but not harsh. ”

“ Not very, just a pleasant warmth, so long as you don't oversteep or use too much tea! 5 minutes at 212 was perfect. 10 minutes (was taking a big order at work) was inedible, had to mix it with Sprite and have a large 'ginger ale' lest it go down the sink. ”

“ I would not say it is all that spicy, the ginger is dulled by the other ingredients, not sure if it is the Marigold I notice the most or the blend of the strawberries/peach .. I do get Ginger but not near as strong as I would have expected. Will be writin ”

“ It is slightly spicy, but I did not think overwhelmingly so. If you are very sensitive to spice, it might not be for you. ”
