Matcha Tea Characteristics and Benefits

Matcha Teas are made from premium tea leaves that are shade-grown to boost chlorophyll and L-theanine levels, and creating vibrant green, sweeter leaves. Stems are removed leaving what is called tencha. Tencha is then steamed and ground into the fine powder we know as matcha.
