Ingredients & Lore

blended with Matcha Tea

The name matcha was given to this tea because of how it is made: Ma means powder and cha translates to tea in Japanese. Matcha is the result of many steps, from shading the tender leaves of the Gyukuro plant to increase its amino acids and chlorophyll to reduce bitterness, deveining the leaves into a category called Tencha when the tea leaves are flattened, dried, then ground in granite mills to a silky powder, the foundation of the chanoyu, Japanese tea ceremony. Matcha Traditional is grown, harvested, and processed traditionally, yet packaged for your lifestyle.

What's the caffeine content in each of these sticks? The regular matcha says that it has a high level. Is this comparable to that?
