Decaf blend of tangy Ceylon black tea, flavored with bergamot - a citrus fruit. Makes a zesty cup of tea, both hot and iced. A gentle, natural decaffeination process retains the delicate shape and flavor of the tea leaves. Our decaf teas are decaffeinated using the superior carbon dioxide (CO2) process, which retains the most flavor and antioxidants.

The origins of Earl Grey tea are shrouded in mystery. Some claim that it was a gift offered to Lord Grey when one of his men saved the life of a Chinese mandarin’s son. Others claim it was a gift from an envoy, and still others that it was developed to offset the flavor of lime in the Grey family’s estate in Howick Hall. While some of these stories are more obviously not true (for example, Lord Grey never visited China), what we can say is this: Whoever created it, we’re glad that they did.
