Whale sharks are the largest fish in the world and despite their tremendous size, they are not a predatory species. While they eat meat like other sharks, they do not tear into their prey. Rather, whale sharks are filter feeders, much like a whale. Whale sharks are solitary creatures and can live up to 100 or 150 years. They are also docile giants, gentle, and pose no threat to humans. The greatest risks to their populations are illegal hunting (for their meat, oil from their liver, and fins) and tourism where boats can disrupt feeding and injure whale sharks with their propellers.
Chamomile for the calmness found in the deep sea beneath the waves, white monkey for a subtle seaweedy aroma, vanilla oolong for a slightly dark sugary treat, and cornflowers for a splash of blue color reminiscent of the ocean.
