Rachel Donelson was a child of the frontier. Her relationship to President Andrew Jackson was an interesting one. She had been married previously, and through an error her divorce had not been properly granted prior to her marriage to Jackson. Once rectified, she and Jackson lived at The Hermitage in Tennessee. She passed away prior to Jackson becoming president, but was always a driving force in his life.
This is a strong tea that celebrates this strong woman.
