Admiral David Anderson was once described by the Illusive Man as 'An old soldier, set in his ways...only able to see the world down the barrel of a gun.' This may very well be true but he is so much more. He is a bit of a father figure for Shepard and one of the Commander's truest friends and supporters though the Reaper War.
