Waking up from a late nap, a cup of this tea helped bring sunshine into my day that had been spent mostly in the dark. The light peach, gentle apricot, and hint of underlying almond were like sweet birdsong in the air, and the floral notes elevated the drink further. I enjoy my teas a bit sweet, so a dash of sweetener helped perk this up - though I might use honey moving forward. Tupelo especially would give this just a hint more nuance and richness, and impart some of the buttery sweet glaze I'd expect from a fresh pastry. Whether paired with a pastry, salad, or poached pear grilled cheese - this tea makes for a joyful sip time and time again.
