There is simply no way to capture the full on epicness that is a complete Mardi Gras Day and night.
I gave it my best shot with the fun decadence of Tiger Eye, the rich Brazilian flavor of Mocha Nut Mate and the smokiness of Lapsang Souchong. All topped off with the colorful purple and gold accent of Cornflower and Marigold flowers.

There is absolutely nothing to say about Mardi Gras that hasn't been said already. It's wild, crazy and lude but also an intricate part of New Orleans culture. I'll admit, it's a bit of a strange tradition here in New Orleans but it is only one of the flavors that makes this city unique.
Accompanying, this wild side of Mardi Gras day is the Royal grandeur of the Mardi Gras Balls. Most Carnival Krewes parade as well as have a traditional ball which take place throughout the Carnival season. Some in the guise of a debutante ball while others honor the newly elected King or officers a Krewe. Two Krewes in particular, Rex and Comus, have their Ball Mardi Gras night which also signals the end of the Carnival season.
