Piermont 'Piney' Winston was a co-founder of SAMCRO, one of the First 9. He was the club's oldest member and senior club advisor. He served in the Vietnam War with John Teller. When they returned home they felt ostracized by the same society they had just risked their lives for. Confused and unappreciated, they formed SOA in search of their own version of freedom.
