Inspired by Rosie, a brave kitten full of fire and hope, this blend combines pu-erh chorange, pu-erh spice, and pu-erh dante. Pu-erh chorange adds a touch of citrusy tang, pu-erh spice infuses warmth and depth, while pu-erh dante brings a smoky intensity. To enhance the blend, it has accents of ginger root, symbolizing courage and adding a spicy kick. Rosie was a tiny little black and white kitten whom called the Kitty Catfe home. Sadly she began to become plagued with a number of issues that caused her to lose weight and become ill. The amazing woman and caretaker behind the Kitty Catfe did everything she could to try and nurse Rosie back to health. Her love and care of Rosie and all the other kitties of catfe are her reason for being, even if that reason and love sometimes put her own health and wellbeing on the back burner.
Between her and the support of the local community who would do anything for this amazing human being, everyone tried to do all they could to help this amazing woman and the other kitties in her care, including so many prayers for Rosie to recover, it was with sadness, that Bastet called Rosie home to cross the Rainbow Bridge on the 14th of August, 2023.
The loss of this bright, hopeful ray of sunshine, hit the community hard, as well as her caretaker. In honor of her loving and sunny spirit, I commemorate this blend in her memory.
May you take a moment to soak in the bright sunshine every chance you get, as you sit back and enjoy this tea, and remember the spirit of a small little kitten who fought with everything she could, enjoying the sunshine from the windows when she was able and knowing she was so loved in her short time with us.
