Persephone, daughter of Ceres, whose absence led Ceres to withdraw from the world, leaving the earth bereft of plant life, is associated with the seasons end. Persephone ate a Pomegranate, which bound her to 3 months under the earth. Her Pomegranate muddles with chestnuts and caramel in this autumnal tea to celebrate the last harvest.
