Ingredients & Lore
blended with black tea, natural blackberry flavor & raspberry leaves
The Blackberry is in a plant family called Brambles. 'Batology' is the study of brambles... and a great SAT word. There is evidence that blackberries were eaten in Britain in Neolithic times and were surrounded by superstitions. In southwest England, it was believed that the first blackberry spotted growing each year would banish warts. Another tale predicted that blackberries should not be eaten after October 10th, because during the night the Devil goes by and spits on every bush.
