Euoplocephalus tutus

Tastemaker platinum badge
created by: Johannes Emily Hall
This species was covered head-to-toe in armor and weapons to protect itself from Gorgosaurus and similar predators. This tea, with its sturdy yet comforting mix of greens and sweets (and vitamin C to add defense to your body!) should help you curl up and feel safe and at home as well. This tea shows off the slower, more grounded nature of the ankylosaur. Thankfully, it's also less complicated than its name.

Discovered in 1897 in Alberta, Euoplocephalus is one of the most well-known dinosaurs, but it is often miscalled Ankylosaurus, the name of its close cousin. They are best known for their thick armor, spikes and club tail, which could break bone with a single swing. The animal was thought to have had an excellent sense of smell, cursorial abilities and the ability to hear extremely low frequencies.
