Description

A delicious blend of natural fruits and spices that brews up a mouthwatering cup of herbal tea. Entirely caffeine free, it holds a special appeal for kids and sweet-toothed adults. Yet contains no sugar or other sweeteners. The flavor is all natural, emanating from apple pieces, hibiscus flowers, cranberries and raspberries. Highly addictive; Please proceed with caution!

Story

The genus Raspberry consists of over 200 distinct species, however, only two of these are presently cultivated. The first mention of raspberry comes from the people of Troy (Helen perhaps?), located in modern-day Turkey. Its original name was "ida," a reference to the mountain on which it was first spotted. The medicinal properties believed to cluster in its leaves was of more interest to its early users than the sweet, red fruit. Slang references to raspberry were of course developed much, much later.

"This herbal tea can be a bit tart especially if you use it alone. I recommend this one with chocolate or vanilla, but not on its own. "

"This has a strong berry smell with a lighter, tart flavor. I mix it with white peony as a flavoring for my white tea. "

"I enjoyed this more as an iced tea with a touch of honey. I found the touch of sweetness really brought out the flavor. I enjoyed having this tea throughout the day. I would brew a pitcher and each time I needed a refill, I'd just take a trip to the fridge"

"I'm not a huge fan of this tea by itself. Its a little too bitey for me. I do however enjoy mixing it with some plain white or black teas to give them a bit of flavoring."
