Description
A delicious blend of natural fruits and spices that brews up a mouthwatering cup of herbal tea. Entirely caffeine free, it holds a special appeal for kids and sweet-toothed adults. Yet contains no sugar or other sweeteners. The flavor is all natural, emanating from a mix of ripe pineapple, savory coconut, fresh apples, rose hip and hibiscus flowers. Highly addictive; Please proceed with caution!
Story
Like many cocktails, the history of the Pina Colada is muddled with more than several names being attributed to discovering this fabulous "strained pineapple" drink. Nonetheless, this slushy, fruity concoction combines the best of the Caribbean: rum, pineapple, and coconut. To prepare, place ice, frozen pineapple, juice, coconut cream, and the white and dark rums into a blender. Blend until smooth and frosty. Pour into glasses and garnish the rim with pineapple slices.
" Pina Colada is one of Adagio's best efforts. It is an excellent dessert-like tea, naturally sweet even without sugar, although I like sugar with it. It tastes like pineapple, and coconut, and just like you'd expect from a pina colada. Excellent for a post-meal tea (it tastes like a dessert) or for a nightcap, less appealing in the morning or early afternoon. Excellent iced."
"My first try was ok, I'll have to give it another go but the scent is lovely."
"This one isn't flavored like pina colada. It's fruity with a hint of coconut but the hibiscus overpowers everything else."
"I loved it! I tend to favor the sweet and fruity teas."
"This sounded pretty good. It does smell exactly like a Pina Colada, and the mix contains chunks of dried pinaple and coconut, as well as a red leaf/fruit I can't identify. When brewed it looked a bit like cherry Kool-aid. It does not taste like a Pina Colada, but is nevertheless tasty and smells like one."
"I really did not like this one. Truthfully, I don't really like pina coladas, so I am probably not the best judge of this tea."
