So THIS is how tea is supposed to taste!?! Amazing. And wonderful. And so simple to use. So far (I brewed my first pot this morning) this tea brewing system is fantastic! I do have a question though: Why is Black Tea set to brew for 5min? All my Adagio black teas say to brew for only 3 minutes.

I love this tea maker! It’s quick and easy to use. I use it multiple times a day, and so far it’s holding up.

I have been making tea for years in 2 cup tea makers, strainers, pots, the list goes on and on. I have tried everything and I've been happy with my cups of tea to some extent. Sometimes I know I left them brewing too long and my tea was less then perfect. I really thought that was just how it was going to be. Enter the VelociTEA Tea Maker. OMG...perfection. I love how easy it is to use. I love my tea stays hot till my next cup. I love, love, LOVE how perfect each and every cup tastes now. I'm even considering getting another one to use at work. PERFECTION is really the only word I think really covers how I feel about this machine!

UPDATE: I have had this Tea Maker almost 3 months now and use it 1-2 times every single day. Sometimes just to heat the water to the perfect temp for a single cup, sometimes a whole pitcher I drink all day and/or night. This machine is still absolutely brilliant! Soon I will buy another just to put away in case I break any part of this. it is that good and my must have!

Just got this today, plugged it in, added enough tea for 5 cups, selected tea type and in 5 minutes had the perfect pot of Earl Gray.

Great tea maker! The only issue is that tea seems to have burnt to the bottom of the kettle after just the first use, but it has not impacted the quality of the tea.

I bought this as a Christmas present for myself and it has been phenomenal. It makes enough to fill my quart thermos for work or two 20 oz. mugs. My one concern is that the basket for the tea is made of a very thin metal that feels like you could bend it very easily. Thai is a minor concern, though, compared to how great this is as a tea maker

I used to think that I was very picky about my tea. There were a lot of teas I didn't much like - especially black and oolong. Turns out that I'm just real bad at steeping them properly. I love this teamaker because I don't have to worry about oversteeping tea anymore. I have a fresh, warm, perfect cup available to me all the time, without having to babysit it. It's honestly amazing and I can't recommend it enough!

I have had a number of tea makers and this is my favorite. It is easy to use and makes very good tea. I especially like the design of the steeping basket. It is very easy to place in the tea maker and won't burn your fingers when it is hot!

I had been eyeing this tea maker for a while. but my previous one still worked, and I wasn't ready to commit. When my previous one started to show signs it was nearing the end of its life, I took a chance and purchased this, and it is my favorite tea maker yet! It heats water incredibly fast, and it's fun to watch as the tea is brewed. I also like that tea is unlikely to drip/spill onto the heating unit, which was an issue with my previous tea maker, and it's really easy to use and fairly easy to clean. No regrets!

This is a great product. I love being able to set it up and come back to ready made tea. i used to have to watch the clock when getting ready in the morning, make sure I got to the water before it cooled...made sure I didn't overseep the tea...now I just press a button and I'm good! This was great when I was farm sitting recently. While I was feeding 40 horses, my tea was brewing and keeping warm for me so when I came in from the cold, it was ready! Easy to use and easy to clean.

After using this product for a while, my only complaint is that the water level markers are only on the one side, which means my left handed self has to keep turning the container around to see what I have left and/or how much the maker is filled to.

This right here is the best purchase for a tea lover. Love love love this.

This is my first electric tea maker, and I really like it. I'm glad I splurged.

I am pretty sure this is my favorite purchase ever. My family and I use this at least twice a day and it makes the perfect cup of tea every time. To be able to 'set it and forget it' makes it ideal.

In summary: I love it. I love the reheat function. I love the different settings. Yes, the preset times/temps don't fit all teas, but I can usually make it work by stopping it early or having it brew twice. It's easy to clean, it's sleek, and it makes excellent tea. It's one of my favourite things.

This is by far the best tea maker ever. I love a perfectly brewed cup of tea at the precise temperature and the VelociTea Maker delivers each and every time. LOVE IT!!!

This brews tea so quickly, and I love that I can push the button and walk away while it brews with no worries. I am going to be staying with some friends for a while and am an early riser, so I got this to steep tea in my room without waking them up. It's perfect!

YES. YES YES YES TO THIS MAGNIFICENT THING. I just got it last night, and made my first cups of tea for mom and I while we were trying to mass bake pumpkin bread. This thing. I love it. I love it so much already. Worth every darn dollar for the hands off easy brewing. As simple as matching the tea and pushing a button.

I am loving this! I do wish that it wasn’t quite so large. I also wish that the black tea wasn’t kept at 212 degrees (I know it should steep at that temp, but after steeping it should be kept closer to 190 degrees in my opinion). But overall this is great!

I absolutely love this. It has become my favorite kettle and teapot all in one. Works very well, There is not a setting for mate teas though, but that is a very small issue that can be worked around. Might be interesting to see something like this in the future with custom presets/a digital interface?

Works great and much less than Breville. Got it for work and everyone is impressed

This is easily the best thing I've bought myself this year. Now I don't have to worry that I've left tea to over-steep or cool forgotten in the kitchen - this kettle brews a perfect cup or 4 and keeps it warm.

Love the ease of use. Perfect tea ever time. Only issue is the inner lip of the pot does not allow all the goodness of tea to come out. Maybe that will be corrected in future production. Other than that it's a great tea maker.

LOVE my teamaker, I wish it was easier to tell when it was finally done, but I can pretty well do that by intuition. Makes teamaking quicker, getting you on your day faster and with your favorite tea.

Love this product and makes me drink a lot more tea. I need to find a solution to the staining though.

I will be honest, I was hesitant to order this tea maker, but with the sale, I thought I would take a chance. I am so that that I did! It is now my 'go-to' tea maker. It makes it so easy to make perfect tea! Fill up with your desired amount of water, put the tea leaves in and pick your tea type. Wait a few minutes and you have your tea ready to go and hot for an hour. I have used greens and blacks and they both have been great. Well worth the splurge!

This is an amazing brewer. Perfect tea every time, I love that it keeps your tea warm but doesn't keep steeping!

This electric teapot is a game changer. I love the ability to make a pot of tea at work and enjoy it warm for an hour. There are plenty of adjustments for water temperature and steeping time to make tea to your own preference. In the past I'd get distracted while my single cup of tea was steeping and return to a bitter cup of tea. Now the tea is steeped perfectly when I'm ready to drink it. I'm considering a second purchase for home.

Making tea is a breeze. Turns out perfect ever time. Set and forget it...really.

I love the ease of this machine it's truly awesome, however I have it 4 stars because if you live at a higher elevation two of the higher temp buttons don't work. I just put my tea in an use one of the other 3 buttons and am still happy with the results!

what an amazing device. I had contemplated buying this for some time, I was not really sure about how convenient, how much better the tea would be brewed at the proper temperature, easier it would be to make tea, efficiency, value and so on. I finally decided it would be a great Fathers day gift for the man that has enough Ties. WOW,what took me so long. It dispelled all my concerns after the first pot. I'll probably never boil water for tea again. After the 3rd pot, I wrote this over a cup of freshly brewed tea. If you're still debating, win this one for your home team (or lose it for your home team if you've voting against it).
This is one of the few times I have regretted not having a Facebook account to share this with others. I just can't say enough about the convenience, efficient and more flavorfully brewed tea, from this surprisingly inexpensive addition to my collection of useful but otherwise unnecessary kitchen doodads. Okay, maybe a little on the hyperbole side but not really. Enjoy a fine brewed cup or pitcher of tea today or whenever you can get a round to ordering the VelociTEA.

I want to give this 5 but just can t. If it had the option to alter time for each tea, then yeah. Temps are perfect, times are not. Each tea is unique and that s where this product lacks. I wish I could hit, the black tea setting for example, and then add or subtract minutes. In fact, why not have the buttons just be a general temp setting and then you select the time? Just saying.

Otherwise well done. Seems to steep the tea well. I do wish I could see the leaves brew. That s always a favorite thing of mine when brewing loose leaf tea. But it brews one to four cups and keeps them nice and warm. Makes the prices easy and convenient.

I've held off reviewing this because of other reviews I've read. A lot of people apparently had theirs break down after a month. I've had mine for 4 months now, and it's still making perfect pots of tea every time. This is a wonderful product and I HIGHLY recommend it.

We used to love this tea maker, but it has since broken, not even in a year since we have bought it. This is now once again that it happened, and its very upsetting as we had loved this and thought this time for sure it was fixed. The infuser seemed to have stop working and it just gives us clear water, and stopped brewing. It is very, very sad, as we love our tea.

While I love the thought behind this tea maker and it works well getting the tea to the right temperature and keeping it warm, it makes the tea taste change to a metalic taste of the filter. I tried various things to take away the taste of the chrome of the filter including using a paper tea filter in the chrome basket and nothing worked. I finally took the filter basket out, just used a paper filter and it worked perfectly and did not have that terrible chrome taste. I considered sending it back but decided that I would keep it and just use the paper filters. However, I am not really happy with it as it doesn't work like I thought it would.

first attempt to use boiled water did not circulate for herbal tea, just turned off; did work under black tea setting. Second attempt to use did not circulate under herbal or black tea. Will return. Per email from company this problem may be due to altitude. Error in manufacture. 'WE will be fixing this flaw in the next shipment '

My first tea maker had to be replaced. Customer Service was awesome. Above and Beyond. My only gripe is the fact that the tea maker goes on sale for 20 dollars less than what I paid😡.

This is seriously an amazing kettle. Two little things annoy me: 1) the water level labels are only on one side, so as a lefty it is annoying to see the water level line; 2) the reheating function is the default and there’s no way to disable it, reheating changes the taste of my green tea - I feel like I’m diving at the kettle to turn it off as soon as the tea finishes brewing.

I am concerned about the longevity of the mechanism that pumps the water and I’m suspect it would get clogged if you have really hard water. But I love it, it is the easiest way to make tea and you will never oversteep it (but seriously turn it off as soon as if finishes steeping to preserve the taste of your tea).

Easy to use, easy to clean and fits on my desk at work perfectly! It makes a perfect pot of tea

This is the first electric teapot I have ever bought. I love it! It takes the guesswork out of trying to figure out if I have the water at the right temperature. I am very pleased.

I liked it quite a bit, but has already stopped working. Still heats the water, does not circulate any more. I checked the hole, I can blow into it and suck water through it, So I know it is not plugged.

We use this tea maker every day, if not twice a day. Easy to use and clean. Very happy with this purchase.

This is the first Tea Maker I ve ever used. I grew up using Brown Bettys to make tea strong enough to stand a teaspoon up in. My Mother was English and my Father was Irish, so I know really strong tea. Combine that with many years living among Russians who know their tea as well. The VelociTEA is very simple to use, speak, modern, elegant and incredibly great at brewing tea exactly how it should be brewed. My wife is usually very critical and nonchalant about my whims, but this Tea Maker has even her convinced.

I very much like my new tea maker. Took a little getting use to it because I had a different one before that I used for years. This one is a little more simple to use due to the way it is labeled for each type of tea. My nine year old grandson like this because he doesn't have to check the temperature on the tea package, just the type of tea. I do feel that the lid is a little harder to lock into place. Perhaps I just need to get use to the way the lid fits on the top of the pot.

The Perfect Easy to set and go brewer for your tea needs. I live in SC and all the setting worked fine for me.

Best Mother’s Day present ever! Takes the guesswork out of brewing tea.

This would be a 5-star review if there was a 3-minute 212-degree option, but I find myself steeping some of my black teas on the 'oolong' setting. Otherwise it works really well and is great to keep at my desk at work all day.

I love it! Oh my gosh. I was so excited I posted a short video on Instagram. I'm a big tea drinker, going from black in the morning to herbals in the afternoon. This makes brewing, steeping and enjoying so easy. And the 1 hour warmer is perfect for me.

3 months later and I'm still in love. Hubby was hesitant and now is a fan too. Easy to clean too.
