A revolutionary device that heats water and prepares tea at the push of a button. Its ingenious design pumps water from the base into the infuser basket, steeping tea leaves as it circulates. Ideal time and temperature settings for each variety of tea ensure a perfect strength for your chosen variety. When tea is ready, the kettle will keep it warm for 60 minutes to ensure that your last cup tastes as good as your first.
Simply need hot water? Select the "heat only" button first and then your desired temperature. The water will heat, but not circulate. The infuser basket is dishwasher-safe and easy-to-clean.
Photos below and videos nearby detail this product's unique features. For optimal performance, please use spring water and descale regularly (monthly recommended, tablets sold separately below).
Made in China | UL STD 1082 | 6" diameter | 11" tall | Makes a minimum of 8 oz and a maximum of 40 oz of tea | ETL listed | 110 volts, 1500 watts

Open lid and fill the kettle with water. Be careful to not exceed the "max"
mark. Place tea leaves inside the infuser basket. Return kettle to base, plug
into outlet, and push the button that corresponds to the tea that you're
steeping. The button will blink, indicating activity. Once the kettle reaches a
temperature that's perfect for your tea, it will circulate water through the
infuser basket. When the infusion is complete, the button will glow solid, the
kettle will beep, and your tea will keep warm for one hour. To end the 'keep
warm' cycle, press the glowing button once more. To heat water without steeping
tea, please press 'heat only" button followed by your desired temperature. The
kettle will heat water and keep it warm for one hour. To stop, press the glowing
button once again. Kettle is off when no buttons are blinking or
glowing.
Remove calcium deposits to extend the life of your machine and keep it running smoothly.

Questions And Answers
Ask a question about velociTEA and have the Adagio Teas community offer feedback.
I have two questions. First, what is the lowest amount of water that can be used for this? Second, does the infuser automatically lower into the water and raise up again at the end of the brewing time or is there a timer for the person using it to take it
Asked by Karen Harmonon
1×View replyHide reply
8oz is the smallest amount of water. The infuser basket is stationary, and the heated water circulates through the basket for a pre-selected amount of time.

Will it 'hold' other strong tea flavors? Don't wanting my irish breakfast tea tasting like my son's Lapsang su Chung.
Asked by Wanda Carron

Hi Wanda, Thanks for your question. As long as you wash the infuser and pot, it should not hold any flavors! Hope this helps!

Thanks for your question. It does not have this feature, but we think you'll find that the speedy pace it makes the tea will be perfect for your morning routine. Just prep it the night before and start it in the morning!
Answered by Adagio Teason
There are teas like Chai or Blood Orange that taste best when brewed longer. Can you run it through the cycle twice or will that contaminate the inner workings of the machine for future pots of tea?
Asked by Shannon Muelleron
1×View replyHide reply
Shannon, you can certainly run the brew process more than once, and it won't 'contaminate' the tea maker. You may wish to run a cycle with only water following multiple infusions. Hope this helps!

How would you use this for making mate teas. They steep at 150 for 3 mins. I don't see an option for that.
Asked by Michael Laymanon
1×View replyHide reply
We recommend using the Green Tea setting, as Mate teas are forgiving with temperature. You can restart the brewing process for a longer steep time.
Answered by Adagio Teason
Does the tea maker somehow hold the water in the basket for the set time so the tea steeps in a traditional sense or does the water just run into and back out of the basket over and over until the time ends?
Asked by Denion
1×View replyHide reply
Deni, The water circulates through the basket continuously for the selected amount of time. Hope this helps!

cah i use tea with fruit in it, like White blueberry, or White pear in the tea maker?
Asked by Peggy Hawkinson
1×View replyHide reply
Hello Peggy! You may use teas with fruit pieces with the velociTEA! We hope you enjoy!
Answered by Adagio Teason
My tea is too weak. I put two teaspoon fulls of jasmine green tea for 20 ounces of water and the resulting tea was not very green or fragrant. Is there away to increase the steep time?
Asked by John Fortuneon
1×View replyHide reply
Hello John! You could run it a second time on the green cycle. While you can't add time to velociTEA cycles, you can lift it to end a cycle early. More tea may do the trick, as we typically recommend 1 tsp per 8 oz of water.

Is there any easy way to clean the tannin residue? The de-scaling tablets don't touch it, so I resort to scrubbing with baking soda to get it off (which is a pain).
Yes, but as mentioned the de-scaling does not remove the tannin residue, and there is nothing in that article to address the problem. Anyone else have a solution?
Answered by J Grahamon
Happy to help! Try warm water and soap and elbow grease.
Answered by Adagio Teason
Ive had good success with the “Magic Eraser” sheets to remove tannin residue from my beloved ceramic tea cup. Just wet one and gently scrub then rinse after. However, I don’t know where the tannin is on your machine so I don’t recommend on tubin
