I love these tins. I understand the reasoning behind not shipping them with the tea anymore, and applaud the company for offering them for sale at a reasonable price.
The tins are neat - just the right size for the 4oz parcels of tea.
I've been disappointed that the teas stopped coming with these tins, and was happy to order them. (I recently cleaned out some of the old ones I had, and then kicked myself when I reordered!) Even better now that they come included with the appropriate purchase!
had a hard time decided to give these a 4 or a 5. They are great tins but one i wish they were always free and two they don't quite fit a full 4oz bag of tea in them. They are really really close but they should have been made just a touch bigger to allow for space. I mean if i order more tea before that's empty i have to wait till its totaly empty to fill it again. Should have been 5oz tins instead. Still look great easy to label with a dry erase marker and worth having.
It's great to have the tins again. I was very disappointed when the tins disappeared. With the bags, I had to worry about whether the seal was closed or if it spilled in the cabinet.

My complaint is, there is no easy way to mark the tins. The sticker on the bags is very large and doesn't come off easily. If we are going to be using many tins for different teas, how about having an easy system to mark the tins?
Did the price of the tea come down when the packages went to vaccum fresh bags? No? The new packages of tea are fine, the three free tins was a nice way to give a bonus to regulars.
These tins are great, but I am really disappointed that teas are no longer shipped in these tins (and still cost the same as they used to)!
I am pretty ticked about this. It used to be that if you ordered the 4 oz. size it would come in the tin. I am still paying the same price, but now I get to pay extra for the tin. They do not stack well due to the curve on the lid. Darn near stopped ordering from this company because of the new policy- still may not, just waiting to see how much I can tolerate the bags. Rethink this Adagio!!!
These tins are awesome! It's too bad that the tea, itself, doesn't come in tins anymore, but these things rock. Not only do they seal extremely tight, but they look really nice and are well designed. You don't have to hide them away in the back of your cupboard, you can actually proudly display these things!
These tins are great quality and I also appreciate the fact that they come with a see through lid, that still alledgedly protects the tea.
I love these tins, they keep the tea fromm going stale a lot longer than these new bags, still sad they are no longer standard though.
When I saw the promotion of ordering 3 different flavors of tea and getting 3 of the tins for free, I knew I'd be making an order. I never would have ordered these tins before, because they just didn't seem big enough, and at $3 a tin, I'd rather just get more tea instead. I still don't think they're as big as I'd want, but they are definitely high quality tins.
If they had tins of the same quality that could fit a pound of any flavor, I'd probably buy a couple for my favorite flavors. Until then, I will get these tins when I can for free, and continue to double bag my tea. I leave it in whichever packaging it comes in, closed, and then put that in a gallon sized ziplock. Much cheaper, is sealed fine enough for me, and you can fit a pound in 1 bag instead of spread between 4-5 tins.
I needed storage tins and I'm happy adagio had this promotion. Very convenient!
The storage tins are really great and I realy like them but I don't think we should be paying for them.
I love these tins and have actually bought extras that I am going to fill with tea as Christmas stocking stuffers this year.
Cute little tins. I wish they were slightly bigger, though. They don't seem to hold a full 4oz. bag in some instances.

This was a great option for holding the tea I purchased. One of the three, Golden Monkey, contained more tea than would fit in the container. That was perfect for me, though, as I can take the bag to work and leave the container at home!
The tins themselves are great, it is just kind of sad that they don't come with the teas anymore.
The pouches are good, but it's nice to have the option of using the tins over and over.
Just the right size for storage at home, and being able to cart a tea to/from work. Wide opening makes it easy to spoon out the tea, too.
I really with they came with every tea like they used to. I was disappointed to learn that it had changed.
I love these tins! They are a great way to store tea, hold enough to have tea for a few weeks, but not too much that you have one type of tea out forever.

i am obsessed with these tins. i'm a bit sad adagio doesnt use these anymore when they send the teas but on the upside the bags are easier to store.

I love them!! I would only hope that they came in larger sizes. 4oz fits in one very nicely but as I just bought large bags of #5 and #9 jasmine it would also be wonderful to store them in tins as well with having to keep the open larger bags from harm as they wait to be decanted into these wonderful jars. Of course, I drink a lot of tea so that won't take long... ;)

As much as I miss getting the tins with the tea, I understand why Adagio changed. I'm sure the resealable bags keep their costs down, which in turn keeps the prices down for consumers. If this is your first order, these tins are well worth the money. They will keep your tea as fresh as when you first got it. I had tea shipped to Japan when I lived there, and when I moved, I sent it back to the US. All the travel didn't affect the tea, and I know it was the tins that kept the tea safe.
These are excellent to store (or share out) larger bags of tea one might buy. I didn't care for the lable, but that's hardly a fault of the product.
What else can I say? I've been wanting these since I saw them. Free makes it better.
These tins are great! The hold the flavor so you can enjoy fresh tea.
These tins are great, but it's not so great that they don't come with the tea anymore. At the very least, they should be available in the 8oz. size so more tea can be stored at once and I'm not cluttering up my cupboard with 4oz. tins. As far as funtion goes, they seal tight and keep tea fresh. What more can you ask for?
They hold four ounces. They look great. They are stackable. I have nine and will be ordering more in the future.
I like these little tins. I find that they are perfect for holding teas and keeping them fresh. It even has a "tin contains" label which I put the sticker from my tea packages on.
I love these tins & how you can see the tea through the top. I do wish they were a little bigger. 4oz of tea fits but barely and not without some falling onto the table in the process.
I too don't believe we should be charged for the tins...or the price of the special blends should be reduced since they just come in a bag. After all, the tins are $3 a piece and I am sure the bags don't cost the same. I do love the tins though and hope Adagio will make it right.
I love that the tins have been made available to purchase independent of the tea itself. Having tea shipped in paper pouches reduces the waste and expense of multiple tins if you repeatedly order one specific tea.

These tins work really nice, airtight seal. Wish they were a little more colorful, but what can I say? They are adiagio's colors.
I love these tins, I am a tea fanatic and have tea everywhere this was a great way to have my favorites that I drink every day right next to my brew pot. I was worried that they would be really small but the size was perfect and the wide mouth makes it easy to get a measure spoon in and out without spilling.
