Tins look pretty stylish, but don't seem to hold a full 4oz of tea. I'm left with a little bit in the bag, which I suppose just means I'll use that up first. Much lighter than I thought they'd be, and all-around seem great for my storage.
I love these tins. I get a lot of teas from local tea shops, and they always come in paper bags, which make my cupboard smell great but I worry about flavor seepage. These tins are the perfect solution!
I wish these still came with the teas. They hold a good amount, are easy to get a spoon into, even when the tea's down to the bottom, and they stay closed and don't break if they topple onto the floor.
I'm glad you offered them since you no longer pack your teas in them. A lot of the time I split my teas with my son so this is what I used them for.
I love these tins! They keep my teas safe & secure. They are reasonably priced and I will probably purchase a few more.
Nice tins, look great, does the job well. Just wish there were different sizes. Would like a larger one!
i love these! they are perfect for storing teas and priced fairly. more sizes would be nice for "fluffier" teas.
Useful and convenient, but wish the tops were solid to keep out light as well as air.
These are so much better than the bags that Adagio now puts their teas in. I wish they still put the teas that one ordered in these containers for free! :(
Don't think I should have to pay extra for these tins. I preferred when the teas were simply shipped in these tins, not the snap locking bags.
These tins are really great, it's just somewhat disappointing that they don't come with tea purchases and now cost extra. The thing I would like them to change about the tins is that the area where your write what kind of tea is easily erasable.
The tins are very useful especially now that the teas no longer come in their own tins. I just wish they came in more sizes. even though most of the tin is metal make sure not to store any teas that require metal or glass containers in them. Those teas will etch the plastic lid.
Amazing little tins, love the design and the clear lids. The air tight lids keeps my tea fresh for months
Overall the tins to be well constructed. The clear UV protected lid is a nice touch. It makes it easy to idetify the tea visually without having to write on the outside of the tin.
I am a bit disappointed that they no longer come with the teas, but still love these tins. They are sturdy, won't break like the glass jars, have clear lids with UV protection, and look nice, too.
These storage tins are great, they have a uv blocking lid that is hinged with a latch which makes an air tight seal, each tin can hold 17.84Cubic inches or about 4oz of tea in the case of Assam Melody and Ceylon Sonata, with out crushing the leaves. the weight of tea that they can hold will differ with the size and shape of the tea. The over all dimensions are 3.5inches in diameter by 3.25inches tall, as best as I could measure.
The best tins available and the most unique. A definite necessity for storing teas.
