I still love these tins and I love the new colors. I do wish that there was still an option to have the tea come in tins even if it cost more. I also wish that the large tins were available as well. These tins are sturdy, stackable, and the fastener is easy to use and sturdy as well. It would be very nice if bags of tea came with labels that could be applied to the tins in the label space provided as well.
the only thing i have to say that's negative is that they didn't come in different colors
These are the best tea tins out there and I was sad when they stopped coming with the tea. It would be great to see a modified design that allowed better stacking.
I wish the tea would come in tins, however they are nice and small and don't destroy my cabinet space. They kind of stack nicely too
Quality tins, UV blocking lids, and much more convenient for managing a collection of more than a couple of teas than the resealable bags. While it is inconvenient to buy these separately now, it is more environmentally friendly in some cases where bagged refills weren't available (such as with signature blends).
These tins are great. I bought them on an impulse, but I do not regret it at all.
Tough to give a review-the tins themselves are great but customers used to receive them for free, with the tea already in the tin. I have so many my husband built me a tea cabinet that is designed to fit the adagio canisters. It's really sad that we are charged for them now.
These tins are perfect! You can see the tin through the lid, but not worry about the taste affected And for the price it's hard to find anything that compares at local supermarkets.
The tins are not only wonderful for keeping the tea in, but they also stack nicely on top of each other. I found it nice to take the sticker labels off of the bags of tea and put them on the tins to let me know what kind of tea is in it along with possible brewing directions. I will definitely be getting more tins with the more tea that I purchase.
the tins are great I use them to store coffee sugar and tea wish the still came free with 4 ounce orders though
Same great tins as always, and a good value for the price, IF they hadn't once come for free with the tea. I understand the reasoning, but I don't have to be happy about it. It would be nice to be able to buy these one at a time rather than as a three pack, so if I only want to buy one variety of tea, I don't wind up paying for extra containers that I don't need.
I don't like the fact that we have to pay for these now :( If I have to pay for them, at least add some features that make them reusable, such as a holder for a paper label.
The tins are nice and airtight, but the window on the top still accelerates degeneration of tea quality. Yes, it stops UV light, but the way light works is a chemical change that still can alter the tea quality. Good for quick-use storage, not long term. (even in a cupboard, you still have to pull the tin out to remove your tea!)
Easy to use and convenient to store teas in. They are also designed to be stackable. Only small issue is that 4oz. packages of tea does not always fit.
These are the best tins you can buy. I wish they still came free with the tea like they used to, but they're good enough that I'm willing to buy them.

My only complaint about the tins is that they aren't stackable. As someone who buys a lot of tea and lives with another Adagio aficionado in a house with a small kitchen, stackable tins would be fantastic!
The Adagio tins are my favorite way to store my tea. I miss the days when these were included for free with a tea order, but at the same time they are definitely worth the ~$3/each they currently cost. Labels, see-through UV blocking lid, and easy open clasp all make this an excellent product.
I think the price of the tins is fair, especially based on the quality and compared to what other tea companies charge. I needed quite a few of these so I searched all over the net for a cheaper option and didn't find one. They are somewhat stackable which is another nice feature. I think the 4oz capacity claim seems a little off though, because I just ordered several different 3oz bags of tea and none of them completely fit in the tin. Not that I'm complaining about having extra tea, but my goal of buying the tins was to clean up my tea shelf, and I ended up with both tins and bags for every tea I bought instead of just having the nice tins. I love the main O's idea of the label being erasable (like with a dry erase pen.)
I can understand the economic and environmental decision for Adagio to move from the tins to the bags, but all you really need is one order of three tins, and you can simply keep switching teas in and out of it. Also, I just peel the sticker off the bag and put it on the tin to easily identify the content. I love it, and it really keeps tea fresh for a very long time.
I like the tins, but I think it's a shame we have to buy them separately now. I do have one suggestion: You need to make the peel off label on the bags the same size as the square for the label on the tin. Other than that, love these tins!
These are nicely designed, very lightweight. I'm concerned that the plastic tops will show heavy scratches within a short time using them, though. And I really wish they still included these with purchases of large sizes
As advertised, tins that hold 4oz of tea. Lid seals well and opens and closes easily.
These are great tins, perfect size and look good in the kitchen. They are very lightweight and the lids are clear but will block the sun out so your tea doesn't get ruined.
Fantastic for storing but really wish they'd go back to selling the blends in the tins instead of making you purchase them separately! Pretty good price comparable to other storage tins but not when you consider you used to get them for free!

Found them perfect for storing teas. Clear tops mean you know just what is inside each one without opeing. Air tight. Stack if you keep them close by. Even travel well. Can not ask for more.
They look good, and do what they're supposed too. Too bad they're not shipped with the tea anymore.
Awesome storage tins. They're cute, sturdy, and small so it's perfect for a college student or someone who lacks a lot of space for bigger tins. I especially love the lid, it's a clear, UV-blocking lid so that you can see your tea without having to open it.
Perfect for the small pouches of tea and very easy to open and close. Just don't make the mistake of writing the tea name in sharpie like we did.

great tins. the teas should really be coming with these tins. BUT they are great, so i give them a 5 star review.
I'm kinda sad that we don't get these tins with our teas anymore, but I'm glad we have the options of buying them. I store all my teas in the storage tins a get from adagio.
Decent storage tins, but it is a bummer we now have to pay for them, especially since they aren't exactly cheap. Having the tins included with the teas was such a great benefit of shopping with Adagio. It made the entire experience more enjoyable- easier to use, looked nicer, no additional purchase, etc... And this is especially true with gifts. I have given Adagio tea samples as gifts on several occasions, and they were so much more special in the tins. The recipients liked the teas I gave them. But the 'adorable little tins' made such an incredible first impression on them, and I know they were more inclined to try the teas because of the tins. Honestly, it is just not as appealing to give them as gifts anymore, now that they are in bags. Maybe give customers a choice, and simply add a small fee for those who want their tea in tins?

I'm so glad they started giving these out with orders again. They are fantastic and if you don't have enough for your tea, you should buy some. They're space efficient and keep your tea tasting fresh.
Love these freakin tins. The fact you can see the tea through the lid but still have protection from UV rays. Then compare the price to tins from other companies and these win all day.
Nice tins. Seal well. Sending tea in bags surely saves on shipping and cost. besides I have so many tins I don't know what to do. Love the idea or a reusable tin.
I must rate these tins highly for their design and utility. However, even if it's not feasible to ship all of the larger quantities of tea in these tins, I do wish we had the ability to customize them for each tea (i.e., including a description of the tea we'd want to store in that tin). I'm confused as to why my Dragonwell was shipped in one of these customized tins while none of my other bulk purchases included a free tin.
If I remember correctly, when one used to buy 4 ozs of tea, the tea would come in these tins. I find this interesting because now when I buy the 4oz bag of chocolate chip tea or casablanca twist, it doesn't all fit in the tin. There's enough leftover leaves to fill one of the old 'sample' tins as well. This just makes me wonder, do they overfill the bags or did they sell less tea when they included the teas? I wish I could remember...
Anyway. So. The tins themselves. Well, they are tins. They hold tea. I like that the clear top allows me to see what tea it is at a glance, but I miss the old labels they used, especially on the 'blends' tea.
I love these tins but hate that I had to pay to get them. At least they are reusable.
I love these tins. It is a wonderful way to make your tea drinking experience a little more high-end. I love the way they look in my tea box. The UV lids are great too. Easy to store.

These tins are absolutely perfect for tea storage. The lids protect against the UV light rays so that your teas are protected. Each holds 4 oz of tea which is my usual amount that I buy.
