Wonderful. It's a shame that they come at a price now though.
While I would prefer that the blends were still shipped in the tins, since that is no longer the case, I bought 2 sets of these tins to transfer my teas into. I prefer the clasp lock and the clear top (to see the contents) to the tins bought elsewhere. The one improvement I can suggest is that the labels on the pouches be smaller and more easily peelable so they can be placed directly on the tin to identify the contents.
The plastic snap lid BROKE the second time I used one of the tins. I have a gentle touch so it wasn't me. I don't recommend this product although they would be very handy if the lids were sturdier.
These tins are great- nice vacuum seal and UV protection, and they sit much nicer in my tea drawer than the slippery bags do and stay shut. My only issue is the price and the fact they are no longer included with larger tea orders.
I miss when Adagio would send tea in these tins for free, but they are really quite nice and I have no complaints. Both stylish and functional.
Great tins! Wish they were a little less expensive, and would be a hair better if stackable... but they are of solid quality and definitely get the job done.
I loved before and still do now. I picked them up as part of a free deal so I can't complain. Now I just have to reuse them.
Perfect for keeping my favorite teas fresh. I like the clear top so you can see which tea you are selecting so you dont have to guess at what you are going to brew.

Great way to store my loose leaf teas. I love how the tins are able to stack on top of each other. I just wish that they were still complimentary with the teas. Also, it'd be nice to have the surface of the canisters be erasable for easy relabeling.

The tins make for great tea storage. Can stack them in my cupboard and consequently fit lots of varieties of tea in small space.
They are the exact perfect size for 3oz. of tea. It was easy to pour the tea in without making a mess, and there is a spot to label the tin with a pencil.
The clear tops are convenient. You can see at a glance which tea's in them.
These tins are nice to have on hand, but honestly, I'd prefer it if Adagio's teas still came in them...
I want the tins back. I think they make BETTER storage containers then the zip-lock bags. I was sad when Adagio changed that. :(
A good deal for a nice set of air-tight, UV ray blocking storage tins. They do their job well and hold reasonable amounts of tea for ready access yet safe storage. Thinking about ordering another set, definitely recommended.

I love the tins but like others am really disappointed that we now have to pay for them. Nobody wants to pay for something that they used to get for free. I also wish they came in brown and green (the originals came in green).
these are nice tins but I would prefer larger size, they will hold 2oz maximum.
I love my airtight tea tins because they keep it fresh while allowing me to have several varieties out on the counter at the same time. IMO, these should be complimentary with every 16 oz order.

Work great for storing my tea, I keep them stored on my desk at work next to my ingenuiTEA for frequent brewing. Quality seems quite high and they've held together well.
Three of these tins cost nine dollars? Hell, even if I wasn't going to use these for tea, they would make good spice jars or something.

I like these tins. They are spacious enough to hold quite a bit and I like that the lids are clear. They seem a little cheaply made, but they're great for what they cost.
Nice way to organize my teas and keep them fresh. I keep them in a drawer and use my label maker for the lids to identify the teas.
Great containers. Much better than the bags that the tea comes in. 1 tin is enough to hold about 3 oz of tea.
I regret that the tins no longer come with the teas--they really are nice tins and stack neatly, seal tightly, and offer a view of the contents!
These tins are awesome! I had some tins from another company and they were hard to open. These seal great and open even easier.

I love the hooking clasp for the lid and it seems air-tight. The see-through lids are perfect for glancing at all my teas and picking out which one I want. I only wish they came in different sizes because I end up having to store most of my tea in the ziplock (and some non-ziplock) bags that the tea comes in.
I wish there was some kind of labeling system where one could take the info off the tea bag and slip it into a holder on the tin. 6 kinds of rooibos are hard to tell apart.
Like other reviewers, I do miss getting these with orders, but since the bags all have resealing zip tops, I've adapted to them. I mostly use these extras for 1lb purchases so I can take some to work with me and keep some within reach at home.
Love the tins...great for holding my tea at work when I don't want bring my fancy glass (breakable) containers.
It'd be nice if these were still free. On the bright side, you don't end up with extra tins if you order more tea (although being a relative newcomer to Adagio I don't know if you could order refills in bags before.) So that's good- my place is cluttered enough!
The tins are quality, as everyone else already said.
I like having extra tins to hold my tea. Now all I need is a way to easily re-label the contents.
The handiest thing about these tins is the clear lids, especially for some of the more visually attractive and distinct teas.
I do love these tins, though I liked them a lot more when the tea actually came in them. I wouldn't have bothered to buy them separately unless they were really worth it.
Good little tea tins. A nice air-tight seal and a big window to see what's inside. Only problem is how quickly I seem to empty them! =) I love my tea...

These are a great addon for the bags of tea...much easier to organize than storing in the bags.
Tins are a good idea, if you are in for tea. It is very important to keep the tea you buy, as well as what you buy. Very rapidly the tea you purchased so precisely and carefully, might lose all that you were after, either because it is exposed to the air, collects the moisture in the air, or otherwise all substances and chemicals you might have there, or more seriously the sun rays, which is as hazardous in terms of destroying the tea flakes, drying them, make all kinds of chemical modifications, which in short makes all the tea you bought, virtualy, worthless. Brown paper bag, or even silver lined inner layer won't do. The lid of the tin can, although transparent, blocks harmful solar radiation, and the makeup of the lid itself, is such that can be easily closed tightly, without much effort, and sealing the contents hermetically. The seal is made of a material, especially to endure harsh conditions and many years of use, in terms of other utensiles. It is worth the extra investment, especialy if one purchases items in bulk commodity, in less expensive containment for inventory and transportation, and for the user to store them in smaller usable containers.
Love the tins! Wish all the teas came in these. They have an area to write down the name of the tea (although I'm using post-its cause I'm planning on reusing them for different teas). And they're stackable!
I love using the tins, but whole-heartedly agree with the disappointment in Adagio's repackaging. I understand they opened stores, but prefer the metal tins over the breakable glass (which I did purchase ONCE).

I got these tins when they were on special, free with another purchase. I really like them and they are high quality, very useful. However, I agree with some other reviewers that they should come with the teas. I like them a lot, but I'm not sure I would pay extra to purchase them.
These tins let you see the tea clearly and yet don’t let UV in to damage the tea. The wide mouth makes scooping out the tea easy and is especially useful with my favorite Adagio fruit teas that have pieces of fruit with the tea leaves. The good airtight seal keeps the tea fresh for a long time. The tins ingenious sealing mechanism is beautiful as well as practical.
