Good tins for their value - it's hard to find airtight tins for $3, let alone with UV proof plastic.

Wonderful tins, they hold the 3oz size of tea perfectly. I really like the fact that you can stack them, and that they have a place to write the contents. They look quite attractive sitting in my office.
Very convenient for storage. They also stack, which saves space. Unfortunate that teas no longer come with stickers, which may force you to write on it to identify the contents. My trick is to clip the names off of the bags the tea comes in, and either tape it to the container or leave it inside on top of the tea.
Though I did purchase these tins (primarily because I don't have any, and the ratings from customers on quality for them is high), I certainly agree that they should come in various sizes and have the purchase option to have your tea shipped in them...once you have a collection, just order your tea refills in the bags... I certainly wouldn't mind paying slightly more for the tea to come in tins of various sizes.
These are great tins for storing your loose-leaf tea. You can write on the label - I use a pencil so that I can re-label it if I put a different type of tea in the tin later. Pretty enough to leave sitting out on the countertop, and the light won't hurt the tea b/c of the UV blocking lid.
It would be nice if there were 8oz or 12oz containers, but I like the re-usability anyway.
I actually don't mind getting my orders in bags. I can use them to refill the containers already gracing my countertop. I felt guilty having to toss out a couple of these tins since they aren't appropriate for the local incinerator. It would be great if the bags could be made out of bio-polymer for those who have to landfill.
The tins are so much more handy than the bags. I do wish I could buy 1 tin at a time instead of 3. Or give me the option of buying my tea in a tin for a little extra money.
These are just the best way to store tea. I love the size-- fit nicely in a compact space.

These tins are great. Holds plenty of tea, easy to store because they stack, and they have a nice uv blocking lid that lets you see inside the tin. Just remember to always write the tea info on the space provided on the tin
A little small, but great for storing my Adagio tea in them. Agree that they should come FREE when you order a certain quantity of tea though.
I really like these tins. Like some other reviewer said, the space they provide for labeling smears something fierce. But I've found if you use a permanent marker it works alright. Either way, they're great storage tins.

They look nice and, of course, provide for their purpose as well as any other container but they are too small. I buy my tea in 16oz bags, and find that refilling these containers is more of a bother. I wish they would sell larger containers like the tea used to come in.
perfect for keeping tea fresh, I did a comparison with the bit of tea that didn't fit into the canister and there was a noticeable difference after three months. Who doesn't want tea to last at least three months at full freshness!

I have been buying tea from Adagio for years and so have had three different styles of your tins. The pale green one you used previously was by far the best. I liked that my tea arrived in a tin and that the name of the tea was on a nice label affixed to the front of the tin, with instructions for temp and steeping. I do not like receiving my tea in the bulk bags, because they do not store as easily or attractively as the tins. I would like to have the option of either purchasing in a bag or paying a little more for my tea and having it be packaged in a labeled tin. Thank you!
Perfect way to keep your tea safe from air and light. The see-thru V tops make it easier to identify the tea quickly.
These tins are great...perfect for keeping the 3oz teas fresh. I peel the sticker off the bags and put them on the front so that I know what is inside.
Serve their purpose well. They seal in the aroma very well. Has a spot on the front to label the tea. You can erase and rewrite if you use pensil. Just wish I had more!
These tins are a very nice size. Wish they stacked better. Also wish adagio would put removable labels on bulk tea.
I love these tins! So easy to open and close and I can see my tea inside. I wish they also had tins that were just slightly bigger for my larger tea purchases. Try these tins...you'll love them!
This tins are fantastic (especially for the price) I just wish they sold a wider variety of sizes for higher volume teas and sold them individually.
Very useful for storing tea but I wish they came with the tea in the first place as they used to.
I love the tins - only wish they came standard like they used to, instead of pouches, but that's business. I write the contents on clear tape so I can reuse them for other teas without having to cross out all the time.
They fit the 3 oz bag of tea perfectly, are light weight and easy to use. They have a good seal and keep the tea fresh.
I've had these tins for a little while now. They look nice, stack nice and hold a good amount of tea and seal well. Just don't drop them. I knocked one off the counter yesterday and it must have hit the clasp just right and the lid broke. It didn't just pop apart and I could fix it, but the plastic of the lid actually broke. So, while they're nice to have, I think I'll be sticking with the pouches for now.
When you order the tea in the 1 pound size bag, these tins are a great size for storing on your tea on the shelf.
I didn't think I would like these so much when I ordered them. I just got them a few days ago and was really surprised how awesome of a deal they are.

Apparently the biggest complaint is that these are no longer sent to us for free. I never purchased from Adagio when that was the case, but, in my humble opinion, 3 for $9 isn't all that bad for these tins. Now I can keep the lousy bags at home and only bring the small tins to work! Love these!
These tins are probably the most inexpensive one you'll be able to find that are great in quality. They are the perfect size and they even have a space where you can write the type of tea inside as well. However, as a tip, I've found it easier to just cut out the tea name and description from the original packaged bag and then taping it onto the side of the tea tin (so that you can change the tea type whenever you finish the tin of tea).
Excellently sized, wish the bags came with peel-able tags for the tins.
So far, I really like the tins, the bags are a little to flimsy and the tins suite me much better.
Awesome size and price. Ordered two sets to hold a variety of teas to always have a good stock on hand. Perfect to have smaller amounts of a mixture of teas so you dont have a huge stock on hand and can switch it up.
Last long, won't damage. Highly reusable and great for being so inexpensive.

Request: Please put peel-off label on your bags, with tea's name and brewing instructions, so it can be easily attached to the tins.
Though the packets are resealable, the tins make life so much easier and are great to organize things in the cupboard. They really seal in the tea, so much so that the aroma of the leaves wafts at you when you reopen them. The only thing that could make them better is if they stacked more securely.
I love these tins! I order in bulk, stow away the bulk bags, and keep my everyday supply in these tins on the counter. I love that there is a place to lable them!
