i love these tins!!! i will definitely be buying more of these for storage. perfect size, and i am able to see inside as to what tea it is. thank you for making the lid UV protected!! great price, too!
A Must Have. The tins are great because you don't loose the lids, they are attached to the base. I've lost lids before... such a hassle trying to find them. I also like that you can see inside the tins... so you know which teas are which.
These tins look great and fit the purpose, I just wish they would come with the tea orders.
They are tins, they block UV, and they are the size they say they are and seem to seal ok. No complaints.
These tins make terrific storage not only for my teas, but, once the tea is gone, for cookies. (They hold up to a dozen.) I've gotten good use out of every Adagio tin I have.
Nice looking tins but these should be given for free to customers.
These tins are really great value. I easily fit 4 oz of a fairly bulky white chai into one tin. Highly recommended.

What can I say about them? They work for a standard size bag of just about any tea.
The tins are a nice addition to my tea cabinet. I was hoping they'd be a little bit bigger though. It would be awesome if they came with stickers or something to write what kind of tea is inside. Still worth it though.
*Tip: peel the description sticker off the bag and re-stick it to the side of the tin instead of writing on the tin. You can peel it off later and re-use the tin again.*
Many other reviewers have complained that these most excellent tins no longer come standard with teas, but I disagree. I'm happy that they downgraded the packaging instead of raising the prices of tea to cover normal inflation and rising costs. I'm also happy that the tins are still available. I've reached 'tin saturation' anyway, and if every one of my teas came with a new tin I wouldn't know what to do with them.
The tins are cute but two of them arrived scuffed so that looking inside at my tea isn't as fun. However they almost perfectly fit the 3oz size of most teas and I think I am happy I bought them. I wish they were stackable.
I love the tins, but I miss the days when the tea would come in them instead of having to buy them separately.
Just received these today and they are the perfect size. I usually keep smaller amounts off tea in order to have a larger variety. These fit the bill.

the tins are a great way to keep the tea leaves fresh. They are so much better than the zipper bags that the tea is shipped in.
The tins were affordable and store my tea well protecting it from all the elements. It would be nice if Adagio offered a removable label to indicate which tea was inside rather than forcing customers to permanently write the name of the tea on the tin, thereby forcing them to purchase another for each new tea. Or alternatively you could just ignore the labeling.
These tins are good and seal nicely. The clear lids are great to see the tea inside. My only complaint is the small size. We need larger tins Adagio!

These are wonderful! I would love to see a couple of changes. 1. Perhaps the tins could come in the same color as the Adagio packaging? You know, the green teas which come in green and white packaging could be stored in a green and white tin. etc. 2. I would love to see a larger size as well. I found that with the teas I used a lot and made gallons instead of cups, the tins were just too small. However, as they are, they are great. Airtight and sturdy.
Not as stackable as I'd hoped, but they seal really tight and hold a fair amount of loose tea. Also not attractive enough to leave out on my countertop.
I love having the tins, it is so nice looking through the tops at the yummy teas, the size is just perfect for the 3 oz size packages of tea.
Lovely little tin, but handle with care. I've had a couple of the covers chip and shatter when they have accidentally tumbled from the lower shelves of my wall cabinets. Now they all live in my tea drawer hopefully safe from any hazards.

These are quality tins, but $9 seems a bit much. Perhaps an optional container when you buy tea for $2 (they used to be free!), instead of the bags.
I love these tins, especially because they are easily stackable in my cabinets. Someone else's review mentioned that the type of tea is easily erase-able, but I like this feature because then I can wash the tins and change the type of tea when I've emptied one. I recently started to just cut out the name and steeping directions from the bags and tape them on the tins for easier reference.
I do like the new color of the tins. I like that they are stackable. I don't like that after washing my tins, liquid collects under the vacum seal and after waiting a couple of hours and putting the corner tip of a paper towel under it, I still couldn't get all of the water out. This was irritating because the tins are suppose to keep moisture out, not put it in.
While I wish they were free, these are a great alternative then having tea bags tumbling out of my cabinets!
The tins make it easy to use loose leaf tea, but they take up alot of space in the cabinets. The new bags are space concious, but make it a little messier to get the teas out of the bottom (just me - I tend to make a mess).
I hadn't ordered tea in awhile from here and when I got my package in I was kind of surprised that they didn't come in the tins that they use to come in. As I preferred the tins I ordered more. I wish they didn't come in the ziplock style bags. I always have trouble with them.
wish they were a tiny bit sturdier with more metal, but they are awesome non the less

These tins are awesome. I agree with the other reviewers, though. It was awesome when they were what the tea came in... part of what used to set Adagio apart from the competition. I guess none are exempt from inflation.
Whats not to love about storage tins for all this tea. The ziploc bags this tea comes in are fine, but sometimes we just don't close them properly.
These tins are great for storing, I wish they would come free if you ordered a certain amount of tea.

It would be great if these still came with the teas, but I understand the need to keep costs down. The plastic tab that locks it down tends to crack after a while. It was not a big deal when they came with the teas, but now that you have to pay for them...
Stacked nicely on my counter top for quick easy acces to all my favorite teas.
I liked the tins but did change my kitchen decor so out they went. oh well, I receive the bags on auto shipment. We appreciate the convenience.
