I love my tins! I'm quite sad that adagio stopped using tins to begin with... I guess it's a business decision. I especially love the fact that the lids are UV protective. The medium sized pouches normally fill the tins nearly full.
These tins are great. Shipping is reasonable and prompt. I'm glad the teas come in pouches. This helps keep costs down, shipping light, and allows me to decide when I need more tins. When I do, just add them to an order. Price is low and quality is great.

Love the tins. Only modification I made is to put clear tape over the area to write the name of the tea before writing - so I can swap out the tea type!
I was intrigued to find that teas didn't come standardly in tins like they used to (it'd been some time since I ordered), but I was glad I could get three. I dropped an old one awhile ago, and duct tape only works for so long. Another was covered in cooking spray from a baking attempt gone wrong, and so these two were replaced by fresh tins. They stack easily, but don't put them someplace you can knock them over or you might end up getting the duct tape out, too!
Excellent storage devices. Fits perfectly a 3oz bag to store in.

I'm not keen on the price, but these are very good for holding 2-3 oz. of tea. I particularly like the closure.

I bought these tins as backup storage in case there was a problem with any of the tea packages, and oddly enough I had to use a tin on the very first package I opened. These tins are the perfect size for the 2-4oz packages and there was no noticeable drop in the tea's quality. They're an excellent way to save on shelf space. As a new buyer, I'd prefer if these tins didn't come with every purchase. I don't want to image the clutter that would arise from dozens of unused tins, it would be a lot easier to just throw out the tea packages.
Love the tins, but I liked them even better when they were free with your tea purchase. I have been peeling the labels off the tea pouch and adding them to the tins. It would be nice if there was a specific spot on the tin for the label.

Love the tins, they were the perfect size to hold the 3oz teas that I ordered. I still have a large one from a couple of years ago that I use for my basic oolong, and it keeps the tea fresh for at least that long.

Unlike many reviewers, these have never been free for me, as I never ordered from Adagio when tea came in these tins. However, these tins are great. You can see the tea, the lid is UV proof, they are airtight, and they come to only $3 each, which is cheaper than any airtight tea tin I have been able to find. One star off for not coming in a larger size.
I actually really like these tins but it's a bummer that you have to buy them separately now, especially because they're $3/piece. I wish Adagio gave you the option to have certain sizes packed in a tin for something like an extra $1.50.
Not a whole lot to say about these tins. They are what they are though it sucks that they no longer include them for free. Wish you could get them labeled for specific varieties of tea rather than the generic blank space to write the name on.

I really like the Adagio tins. It's definitly unfortunate that they are not included with a quantity purchase, but the price is not outrageous. I really like that they stack in my cupboard, although i have knocked them over a few times - the quality of the tin is emphasized by that, as they do not pop open spilling my precious tea everywhere.
I got one of these tins when I was lucky enough to find some Adagio Irish Breakfast on a shelf at a local natural foods grocery store. I decided that I had to have more for some of my other favorites, so I put in an order for their set of three. They really are neat little canisters which provide a great storage solution to help tidy up what would otherwise be a mess of crinkly, unstable pouches. :P
the Tins are great but it would be nice if the teas cam in said tin but they need to make money on the tea they sell. which is great btw

Great deal on tins. Perfect for tea storage at work. Would like some larger sizes to choose from. I had several tea pouches falling over in the cabinet and these cleaned that up nicely.

These little tins are just the right size for me. They give a nice seal to keep everything airtight. Their clear lids also have UV protection, so that you can keep them your countertop without having to work about light damage. The stack ability is also a nice space-saver. I believe that they are a good value for the price.
I like theses tins...but I wish Adagio would offer larger sizes and differ styles
I have been an Adagio customer for well over 5 years and I am a little jaded about this tin situation. Adagio used to sell all tea in a tin and I do understand it doesn't make sense to keep getting tins in the long run. But $3 a tin is a bit steep. They should offer a discount on tins when making a purchase of tea. An option to 'add a tin to your bag of tea' for 1 dollar would be perfect.
Love having these. It is so convenient, I only wish there was an easier way to keep track of which tea is in which container. I wish all the tea packs came with the stickers to put on the containers.

I wasn't sure I would like the pumpkin spice but I love it and I love the tin that it came in!
