Total Eclipse

In years past I had both a day job and a night job. During the day I was a mild mannered professor. At night I was a deputy sheriff. My night shifts were long and often filled with excitement, too much excitement. Caffeinated drinks were hard to handle at night when I had to remain calm to deal with the public, and when the more relaxed I was, the better I could do my job. Most decaffeinated drinks though were dull as dishwater or filled with sugar, no good if I was to keep in enough shape to handle jobs nearly around the clock. So I took to filling a thermos to the top with rooibos tea and adding dried, ground fruit and dried raspberry leaves to the concoction to jazz it up. The best thing about it, my hands would not shake from caffeine and it kept my tensions under control even when things would get stressful.
