We live in a semi-rural city/town which has many of the usual chain stores but we also have Rural King and other ag/farm stores. People in the surrounding area raise horses, cattle, pigs, and poultry besides their pets. In some cases, they grow feed for their livestock as well. When my older nephew was a little fella, his dad was building and stocking a chicken coop. The boy became very accustomed to poultry. My Mom and I got that grandboy some little fluffy chicken figures to play with. When he'd come over, he'd ask, "Where are the chicky chicks?" or "Where are the cheepings?" in reference to the movable fluffies. He had and has a gift for invented words-- a trait I love. :) This tea is primarily green tea (White Monkey) with only a touch of flavoring in the form of Apricot Green and Lemongrass plus an orange peel accent. It's a warm and a lightly fruity cup, gentle and appealing like a "wittle baby chick"-- another nephew saying. I love the boy, memories of him at different ages, and I enjoy the tea as well.
I think this would be a pleasant blend to add some Chamomile to on occasion. I know I'll be steeping this blend at 180/2. With a bit of Chamomile, maybe 180/3? I may test that shortly.
