On December 16, 1773, Colonists tossed 342 chests of English tea into Boston Harbor to protest The Tea Act of 1773. In todays money, thats about $1.7 million dollars in tea. The tea was a mix of black and green teas including Lapsang. I hope the fish enjoyed it! A Boston Museum has one of the original tea crates on display.
