There are two definitions of a blue moon. The first is when there are two full moons in one month. The second full moon is betraying the rule of one per month and is called "belewe" from Old English meaning to betray.
The other definition is when there are four full moons in one season. The Maine Farmer's Almanac from 1946 states that the third full moon in a season that has four full moons is called a blue moon.
The energy of the blue moon is that of closure and finishing passion projects. It is time to revel in success and what has been learned. Please mix this blend well before use. Art by Kit Steele: https://silvertales.storenvy.com
