In my mind primitivism brings to mind one of two things, the art movement involving western artists of the late 19th and 20th century incorporating themes and stylistic choices from non-western and pre-industrial cultures with a heavy efficise on flat figures and backgrounds, and anarcho primitivism, a subset of anarchist study and thought that attests that mankind was happier and better off as hunter-gatherers and that we should seek to return to a lifestyle from before large scale agriculture. Either way, this floral and light blend will make a great accompaniment to everything from a showing in a fine arts gallery to sitting in a handmade hut made of twigs and mud.
