White Monkey green tea is one of the lightest of the green teas, sharing processing and flavor qualities with the fresh young white teas. I also added Kukicha, a nutty, flavorful green tea made from the shoots and stems of the tea plant rather than the buds. In addition to their low caffeine contents, green teas contain antioxidants that stimulate the immune system, specifically a compound called ECGC.
