Like other teas i've purchased, I use this one as a base for my own tea blends! This tea is delicious on it's own with a splash of milk and it's so easy to add in other flavors to enhance the tea as well!
Such a great rooibos for winter. A go-to for afternoons or evenings by the fireplace : ) Also works great as a base to make homemade non-caffeinated chai.
The wonderful smell of sweet vanilla and woody smell of rooibos caramel was coming from my packet as I opened it. Once brewed, my cup had a smooth, warm vanilla flavor combined with the woody and nutty flavors of the rooibos in the background. It read other reviews and I really agree, the combination of the rooibos and the vanilla is very reminiscent of sugar cookies.
Excellent tea, it's one of my mother's favorites. Overall, it's a fairly sweet rooibos with a strong vanilla flavor, so even if you don't normally like rooibos, you might like this one.
This is my favorite red tea that adagio has. Great taste and so soothing for any weather. My kids love this one too!
The vanilla subtly but superbly harmonizes with rooibos to make it tad sweeter. Really love this tea and will be ordering more of it.
One of my absolute favorite decaf teas. It goes with just about everything. The flavors are balanced, and comforting. In the summer I love mixing it with other teas like the Raspberry Patch to make iced teas. In the colder months it's soothing and always enjoyable hot. Great on its own, and especially good with a late night snack while reading a good book.

I truly enjoy this tea. It's a flavorful everyday tea and has a full taste. It's not overbearing, and with a pieces of rock sugar it's perfect.

Continuing the peculiar trend of rooibos being really wildly different each time I open a sample, rooibos vanilla had neither the woodchip taste and smell of the pecan turtle or the random hospital smell of the caramel. It smelled lovely in the sample bag (as did the others, to be fair) but once brewed it was so inoffensive as to *almost* not really taste or smell like anything to me. When I resteeped it I gave in and added honey, which did bring out more of a sugar cookie quality to it, but as I am trying to limit added sugar I think I would be better off just buying more honeybush vanilla for a similar effect instead of always having to sweeten this. Giving it four stars anyway because there is technically nothing wrong with the tea itself, and I'm starting to think my tastebuds are just glitchy where rooibos is concerned.
My husband and I really enjoyed this tea. I don't have a lot of rooibus experience, but it was a little spicy to add to the vanilla flavor. Nice for a cold evening or I bet even if you're a bit congested.

I really enjoyed this tea. I steeped at 185 for 5+ minutes. The rooibos had a bit of a spicy flavor that I haven't noticed before. I'm not sure if that was because I steeped it longer than usual. The vanilla was a nice compliment to it. I sweetened with honey which added nicely.
This was a pleasant tea with a mild vanilla flavor. It went well with my late morning snack.
This one smells delicious just fell a little flat in the taste department. Once I dressed it up with some brown sugar, the vanilla flavor was more pronounced. Or maybe that was just the brown sugar, lol.
One of my favorite teas because of its mellow taste and easily discernible pure vanilla notes. I love this in the afternoon when winding up a day of work or in the evening after dinner. I usually add a touch of honey (the sourwood honey is nice with this) and sometimes a splash of milk. Highly recommended.
I am trying different rooibos teas and am finding I like thr greebased ones better. Woody flavor with vanilla accents and a peppert finish. Not bad but not my favorite.
Nice vanilla flavor that blends well with the comforting taste of rooibos. Slightly sweet brown sugar flavor as well.
Very enjoyable - the vanilla was subtle and I wouldn't have minded it being a little more prominent in this tea. I immediately started thinking of what blends I could make with this tea - a first for me. Hmm... might be time for a tea laboratory...
UPDATED from 11/9/21: This is such a wonderful tea since I like red rooibos. It steeps into a clear, deep red color. The vanilla flavor is so strong making this a MUST have in my tea cupboard. Since it is caffeine free, I can drink it anytime, so this is my “go to tea” whenever I want a strong flavored tea that is full of body. It can be a dessert tea with sweetener and heavy whipping cream added to it. From what others have said, this can be added to other teas to help make them creamy. This tea even tastes delicious cold. Hot, it is perfect for the fall and winter, as it is able to warm you up anytime of the day. (5 mins @ 212°F).
Red rooibos fans will love this woody flavored tea with mild vanilla. As a vanilla fan, I needed more of its flavor to match the woody taste of rooibos..
My CT packet had 3 g/ 2 tsp of short red rooibos leaves. Using a paper filter to corral the small leaves, I added one tsp. of vanilla snowflake quins (aka flattened white “sprinkles”) to the filter. Brewed 12 oz. at 212*F for 5 min then added agave to sweeten. The tea was tasty and the vanilla boost made all the difference. The rooibos and vanilla flavors seemed more in balance with this extra flavor add. A resteep was enjoyable too. This is a wonderful tea in blends, but solo, it needs more vanilla to rate 5 stars.
This one is exactly how it’s described!! A simple vanilla that smells and tastes like sugar cookies. Very good for a sweet tooth. I enjoy it more cold personally and I’m not sure this is one I would reach for often.. the vanilla is very strong!!
This Rooibus Vanilla is so smooth and flavorful. It will be on my regular rotation.
I have not tried this one on its own, but I do mix it with many of my flavored black teas for a more robust flavor. It’s mixes well with just about everything.

This tea has a sharp woodsy flavor. The vanilla was more of a background hint rather than a forward taste. A nice end to the day. 212 for 5 min.
CommuniTEA 11/20/22: One of those teas that is just a good solid staple to have in your tea hoard. Nothing showy or exciting... Just a vanilla flavored rooibos. I suggest sweetener.

This tea has a nice vanilla flavor. I think I like it better mixed equally with honeybush vanilla tea. They each have a slightly different flavor, one stronger at the beginning and the other at the end. When together, I get a full vanilla flavor. (212F for 5min)
This is a comforting, full bodied tea. It makes a great base for blending.

This is a really tasty rooibos! It has a very clean taste of red tea and honey. I drink mine straight up without any sweeteners. This one would probably really pop with some honey added!
I am usually a huge fan of rooibos tea. But with the addition of vanilla it ended up being way to sweet for my personal taste. Though I do think this tea would be good for use in a blend.
