This is a nice tea. I quite like all the rooibos teas.
Last night I brewed cups of both Rooibos Cinnamon Apple and Spiced Apple Chai, to compare them against one another. I like both teas very much, but I think this one might just edge ahead? Both have their pros and cons. Rooibos Cinnamon Apple is much more vividly apple-y tasting, and the rooibos and cinnamon background to the apple flavor is just so right. Everything contributes to an overall wholesome, outdoorsy, orchardy impression. However, some may find the apple taste to RCA more artificial. It's one of those teas where the fruit taste is so vivid as to verge on upsetting. You're not sure whether you love it or are slightly put off by it.
Spiced Apple Chai, on the other hand, is a darker, more astringent taste and less definitively apple-y. I imagine both taste fantastic blended together (with the chai to temper the strong fruit flavors of the RCA and the strong fruit flavors and rooibos sweetness to round out and enliven the chai).
I've also enjoyed Rooibos Cinnamon Apple very much when blended with Rooibos Lemon Cloud. The lemon flavor is very harmonious with RCA (perhaps because both share the rooibos base), and it moves RCA away from the sticky apple pie sensibility toward a taste that reminds me of coating crisp, fresh apple slices in lemon juice to keep them from oxidizing.
At first I didn't think that I liked the rooibos tea flavors. I've had plain rooibos tea before and it tasted sort of chemically to me. This tea still had the taste of rooibos leaves, but the cinnamon and apple flavor made it taste so much better. I could still taste the leaves, but it didn't bother me really. I added some sugar and it made the tea taste like candied apples. My life was perfect in that moment. Also, the smell of the tea is AMAZING. Sometime I wish I could get tea scents in candles. That would be a dream come true.
My kids loved this tea and so did I. It tastes more like candy than tea, even with very little sweetener added.
I haven't tried this hot yet. I decided to try it over ice and it was wonderful.
I am in LOVE with this! It's almost like drinking cider! Lovely scent and just the right amount of sweetness in this. And absolutely awesome to blend with tiger eye, chocolate, caramel and other similar teas. Probably one of my favs!

This is a new favorite tea. It's exactly what I expect an apple cinnamon tea to taste like. Very bold cider flavor, and a little goes a long way. I'll definitely be re-ordering this one. I can't wait to try it in the fall.
Very delicious, reminiscent of a nice apple cider. The natural rooibos flavor lends itself well to apple.
This was my first rooibos tea, so I was unsure how it would compare to the black and green teas I am used to. Fortunately, this tea has an excellent flavor and I enjoyed it very much. While you get a decent flavor at the suggested 5 min steeping time, the flavor improves the longer it is steeped.
Not my favorite rooibos (that would be the caramel rooibos) but very enjoyable nonetheless. For a pot of tea, I added an extra teaspoon of leaves.
For my first try at a rooibos tea, it wasnt half bad. Cinnamon apple is one of my favorite tea flavors, and this definitely was delicious.
Another very reliably good rooibos blend, particularly suited to cold winter nights. It tastes almost exactly like cinnamon apple cider, and is sweet enough not to require additional sugar - a clear win-win in my opinion.

I was so excited for this tea, I love the vanilla one but this was disappointing. It had a very weird artificial smell, almost bubble-gum like. The smell didn't really go away after brewing. I couldn't taste the apple or cinnamon. Maybe I need to steep it longer, but I wasn't impressed.
The tea smells a bit like candy, but when you taste it it's got a better flavor. I was hoping for a richer flavor, but this is good as well.
I love this tea hot and iced. Unlike some of the other 'apple' teas I have tried, this actually has an apple flavor.
Not my favorite. But can see a cider person loving this. For me... I would drink this over cider any day. Kinda the type of tea I need to be in mood for. But once in that harvest mood it would be the tea to pull out.

Tasted like apple, not very cinnamon-y. My biggest problem with it was that it smelled like mulled cider, but was not strong enough tasting after steeping.
Initially, I was thrown off by the slightly medicinal/artificial smell of the tea leaves. Once brewed, though, the tea is reminiscent of apple cider, and the strange initial smell disappears. The balance between apple and cinnamon in this tea is spot on!
Since its rooibos get yourself a good strainer 'cause you can accidentally swallow the dust left over. Anyway, good tea.

This tea is different, I do like it but it has a different taste more of a special occasion rather than everyday tea for me.
I've never been a huge fan of rooibos tea, but I got this as a sample because I've always loved apples and cinnamon. After just one cup, this has become my favorite tea. It really tastes like apple pie! It is sweeter than many other teas, so I usually add half the sugar I normally do. I will be drinking this one for a long time.
The cinnamon apple warms me and makes me smile. This tea is great. Brewing sends a aroma through the house that everyone enjoys.
This brew definitely tastes like cinnamon apple. It is especially good with cream and sugar. No bitter aftertaste. Does anyone else pick out the apples pieces (after brewing) to eat???
I'm not sure what I was expecting with this tea. The cinnamon and apple flavors aren't very strong - I mostly tasted the 'woody' flavor of the roobios. s just a roobios tea, though, it's not bad!
I got a sample of this in an attempt to try out more rooibos tea, since it seems kind of hit-or-miss for me. I'm usually more of a black tea drinker and I seem to be sensitive to the 'mediciney' flavor and aroma of some rooibos teas. The apple and cinnamon are mostly in the aroma more than the taste, but they do seem to mellow out the rooibos. The scent seems more like candy than the apple-cider or apple-pie flavor I was expecting. Nonetheless, it's still tasty enough. I prefer it quite hot, as the medicinal quality seems to get more pronounced as it cools.

I was a little hesitant at first to get this because the last rooibos I had was unpleasant. But I figured since it was a free sample, why not? Glad I did. It's very tasty and wonderful to drink.
efinitely my new bedtime tea! When steeped, it becomes like hot apple cider, warming you from the inside out, yet calming at the same time.

If you love cinnamon tea this is a must purchase. nice blend of spicy and sweet, makes it a great after dinner tea. This is a tea you will always want on hand.

Smells very fruity in the bag if you ignore the slight medicinal rooibos scent. Otherwise this one seemed really true to flavor for me. really surprising that the cinnamon doesn't overpower the delicate apple flavor at all. Tastes just like apple pie filling!

Rooibos is a hard tea not to like. Usually its sweet and full of flavor. s a result, I really enjoyed this flavor of it. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone that wanted a tasty rooibos.
I have this last night, and the only thing I would say that could make it better is if the cinnamon flavour was a bit stronger. Overall, though, a really fantastic tea!
This tea is so delicious. The flavor is the perfect balance of spicy cinnamon and sweet apples, not overpowering but definitely present and well-blended. One of my favorites and I will be re-stocking!
The apple in this rooibos was superb. I highly recommend this for fans of apple cider.

ok, when I first got this in the mail the dry leaves smelled like pickles... yea not the best first impression but liquid wise its ok... not the best.
What a delight! This tastes just like hot apple cider to me: the apple is sweet, the cinnamon is subtle, and both work very well with the fruity earthiness of the rooibos. I drink it without anything added and it's just right.
Nice and cidery tasting. The smell from the bag was kind of weird, but once brewed it's fine.
I love rooibos teas and this one is seriously perfectly appley and delicious.
I wasn't sure about this tea because I've never had rooibos tea before. It's very complex. When you smell the tea before brewing, the first scent you catch is the cinnamon and then, upon closer inspection, you catch the scent of the rooibos tea itself. As soon as you get the tea into the water to steep, the scent seems to mellow and change a bit. The taste is quite different from the smell. It's not bitter at all, but is somewhat stronger in presence than, say, a white tea. I liked it by itself but also enjoyed it with just a touch of raw honey as well. The taste isn't sweet, but it's pleasant. I definitely can taste the cinnamon and the apple comes through in the aftertaste to me. The only reason I rated this tea as good instead of great is because the actual rooibos tea leaves are so tiny compared to regular tea leaves and it creates some difficulty straining. Luckily I already use a very fine mesh strainer, but some leaves still made it into my cup. I'd probably buy this in tea bags rather than loose for that reason.
Update--This has fast become my favorite for both mornings and evenings. I think I'm going to try it iced soon.
