I received this as a free sample, and I am so glad I did... I would have been kicking myself if I had paid for it! The smell alone is sickeningly sweet, almost chemical in how artificial it seems. Brewed, I found the same results. The apple is more prominent than I would like it to be, and the cinnamon fades into the background. Such a disappointment!
A great fall cup of rooibos. Not too sweet, just the right amount of cinnamon and apple.

This one tastes fake. I don't know how to describe it in any other word. I don't detect the cinnamon, only the fake apple taste that sometimes borders on being too styrofoam-y at times. The rooibos base is lovely but that flavor, and that fake smell, is just. Eugh.
I ordered this tea with my boyfriend in mind. He loves apple pie and I thought maybe a good intro to try and get him into a little tea drinking, since I am solo on this venture. He actually liked this tea and got into our cupboard to get half a cinnamon stick to finish it off! The color is beautiful and the taste is good. You can definitely taste the cinnamon/apple flavor, It is strong but not so much so you aren't wanting to finish it. If you like a cinnamon apple flavor with a little kick, I would definitely give this one a try, my boyfriend is VERY picky and I'm starting to believe maybe a little 'anti-healthy' lol so it was a complete surprise that he liked this! I will definitely be buying more of this tea to keep around on cold nights, it is very warming. :)
Very good...the flavors are well-balanced and the rooibos combines to give it a nice rich flavor.
Upon receiving this as part of my large parcel of samples, I hoped to open this up and smell the scent of warm apple pies. I was wrong. The unbrewed tea 'pieces'(?) smelled terribly synthetic, almost like a chewing gum. I didn't want to toss it, so I figured I mind as well brew a pot. The smell of warm apple pie comes when the tea is brewing, and it is quite good! I do add sugar to this, and the tea is very good. I was pleasantly surprised that such an off-putting smell would give way to such a delicious tea. It's very good and satisfies any late-night pie cravings you may have, but you probably won't be enthralled enough to buy $19 worth. This is strictly a night-time tea for me.
This cinnamon apple tea is quite delicious. It's a good tea for autumn, when I always crave spicy apple cider.
This was really really good. It's a shame I got this as a sample and green rooibos as a sample, I should have done it the other way around. I love the taste and texture of this.

A little more cinnamon than apple. I guess I was expecting it to be more appley? It still tastes good. I tried adding apple juice to it once, tasted great!
This is one of my favorites. It's perfect for a cup in the evening when you do not want any caffeine. It's great anytime, to be honest. I'm highly biased though, as I love apples and apple pie and this really does remind me of apple pie. I've shared this with my partner and her mother. I'm getting her mother two packages (bags) because she really enjoys it, too! Oh, I do like to add a bit of cinnamon bark to it at times for a little added flavor.
Tastes great. Is the first Adagio Tea I've tried, so want to leave room for 'great' tea to be discovered.
Rooibos is great for us tea drinkers who like to partake at night, but don't want to be kept up for all hours. The cinnamon apple flavors were very nice and left me feeling cozy. Add a little honey or sugar if you want to bring out even more sweetness from the apples.
I have to admit I was skeptical when I first ordered a sample of this flavor. However, I have to say this is a new favorite! The apple and cinnamon really play well with the fruitiness of the rooibos. This is a marriage made in tea heaven and it deserves a taste for any fans of rooibos. Already ordered 5 oz of this again!

The scent of cinnamon is very strong, but the taste is actually very mild. This cup smells like autumn, and is a nice pick-me-up in the afternoon. Not my favorite but I like it for the occasional cup.
I love this tea! I added a little bit of honey although I'm not sure I even needed it. I thought it smelled great but more like cinnamon than apple, but the apple flavors come out and it's a perfect blend :)

A red tea mixed with apple pie. Sort of. Dunno if you'd want to drink apple pie. Maybe this is a bad analogy. The point is, it's good.
I'm a bit half and half on this one. It is nice, but a little strange for me. Just a little too artificial to really sell me on it.
This tea definitely tastes better than it smells. When I first opened the tea it smells like cough syrup, but once I made the tea it did have a nice apple taste. The cinnamon might be a little strong.
Very festive-smelling in the bag. When brewed, the rooibos flavor is prominent and the overall taste is reminiscent of Big Red gum.
I'm usually one to keep my sugar to a minimum, savoring the tea as much as possible. However, in this case, with sufficient tea, it's like drinking an apple pie. How could that be anything but delicious?

This is actually one of the first adagio teas that's smell pretty much perfectly advertised its taste. Much more apple flavor than I was expecting, very much like cider plus the signature rooibos taste. Perfect fall tea.

Rating this tea is rather difficult. It seems like a great cinnamon apple tea to those trying to avoid heavy spice - the flavor is there, but mellowed out by the taste of Rooibos. This tea is naturally very sweet. I'm going to try using it in blends and see what happens!
I love cinnamon apple, and I have recently discovered/gotten addicted to rooibos, so this seemed like a good tea to try. It definitely was. With a little honey mixed in, this tea was wonderfully sweet and spiced.
This is an apple overload, and tastes marvelous! This is going to be a splendid tea for the fall, and goes really great with oatmeal in the mornings for breakfast.

I received this as a free sample, and I knew I was going to love it as soon as I opened the bag! The aroma of cinnamon and apple sent me down memory lane when my mother burned apple cinnamon candles during the Holidays. I instantly made a batch (I have HUGE tea cups!) with 2 teaspoons of german rock sugar. My husband made fun of me for giggling after the first sip. It was SO good! At first it tasted like hot cinnamon syrup (a bit overpowering), but you can get a little hint of apple aftertaste that sticks with you for the remainder of the cup. PERFECTION! I will get a bigger batch as soon as I try the rest of my samples!
I love the smell of this tea! The brew is very nice, but didn't quite live up to the promise of the smell. I do not use sweetener, but I suspect a little bit of sugar would make it amazing. I will enjoy drinking it, but without the sugar I don't think it will become a favorite.
I've only had one thing that tasted more like cinnamon apples than this tea, and it was a cinnamon apple. Delicious sweetened or straight.
This tea has quickly become a morning favorite for me. I try to limit my caffeine - and I certainly try not to have any before I've eaten something substantial - so I'm pleased to find something so flavorful and caffeine free.

I love this tea, it is like cider but has an extra...something to it that give it that extra kick and because it is decaf I can drink it anytime of the day and not worry about caffiene keeping me up at night.
