Honeybush is a great base for most flavors, and vanilla is no exception. With the honeybush adding sweet (without the calories!) to the vanilla, this is a lovely desert tea that you can drink all the time without a pang of guilt.
Rich, warm vanilla with the honeyed aroma and gentle toasty quality of Honeybush herb from South Africa.

Sugar cookies and vanilla. Slightly sweet and very, very tasty. Really enjoyable and with no caffeine, a nice treat at night. Brewed at 212 for 5 min.
A nice vanilla treat without caffeine or calories!
This was a pleasant tea blend, and would be a great base for custom tea blends.
I do love honeybush and this one brews up as expected: warm, smooth and soothing and just a little sweet. The vanilla flavor was very mild--barely there.
It's a nice classic herbal. When you want something simple to end the day with, it does the job perfectly
I am loving this tea. Smooth, a bit earthy and well balanced with the vanilla flavour. Natural sweetness from the vanilla. Finding it soothing after a long day.
I enjoyed the mildness of this tea with a light layer of vanilla. nice aftertaste makes for a rather smooth and comforting cup of tea for today. it has it's own gentle sweetness, but would pair well with some cream and spice.
A yummy herbal tea that's solid. A mild vanilla flavor. I'd definitely drink this again.
This was a simple tea but enjoyed my cup of the day. The vanilla was pretty good flavor as well and not artificial like I've had in some other teas.
I love Rooibos and Honeybush teas. It's a nice replacement for dessert and I can have it later in the day because there's no caffeine. Great strong flavor that goes well with creamer and sweetener.
Eeeww. I was hoping I would like this better than (yukky) rooibus, having never had honeybush tea before...but I don't. It has an artificial, plastically, vanilla smell that is reminiscent of Play-Doh. The taste is the same with a medicinal non-tea funkiness to it. A few sips and down the drain, sorry! I know people love this one. I like herbal teas with chamomile and fruit, but not this stuff.
I haven't had many honeybush blends, but I absolutely love this. It has a quality that reminds me of vanilla ice cream which is a flavor that is so complementary to bringing out the honeyed flavor of the honeybush. I think I need a bag of this in my life.
I don't normally like vanilla flavored things, but this tea had just the right amount of natural sweetness. The honey notes really came through while sipping and there was just hint of vanilla on the back end. If I was looking to get a no caffeine tea, this would definitely be a front runner.
I found another new favorite! Caffeine free and dessert in a cup? Yes, please! This is pure deliciousness. Add some sweetener and it's even better. I'm getting a pound bag of this in my next order for all my 'I need something sweet without calories' moments. Happy Sipping!
Strong vanilla aromas burst out of the packet today. A full 5 minute steep at 212°F created a medium amber tisane.
Smooth vanilla starts out each sip, followed up by the woody and slightly nutty honeybush. The honeybush comes forward more as the cup cools. Soft and smooth vanilla bean flavors are kicked up a notch when hot. Adding some of Adagio's herbal honey brought out more vanilla cookie type flavors.
Overall this was a really pleasantly smooth vanilla zero-caffeine herbal blend!
This is a nice, smooth vanilla flavored tea. And it's decaf so you can enjoy this at night.
Vanilla and honey Bush pair well together to offer a caffeine free experience
I love a great honeybush blend, and this one qualifies!
This tasted like a snickerdoodle cookie to me! I added a touch of cream. I enjoyed it both hot and cold.
I liked the fact that this tea was caffeine-free. The vanilla aroma came through nicely when I opened the packet, however it did not have a strong enough vanilla taste for me when it was brewed. But the tea was very enjoyable and paired well with an applesauce min-muffin for breakfast!
Wow! Vanilla and honeybush go well together. Nutty flavors come through as well. I like this much more than I thought I would!
I didn't like this one when it was hot, but I'm not sure why. It had an odd flavor, which I'm guessing is the Honeybush, but I've like other Honeybush teas so I'm not sure. Once it cooled some, the flavor that I wasn't fond of calmed down, and the vanilla flavor greeted me. I very much enjoyed it at room temp, and would like to try it iced next time.
15 Sep 2020 review: Mild vanilla flavors and nuttiness was noted when hot. When warm, the vanilla came forward with honey flavor notes right behind. This was a very smooth and creamy tasting drink from start to finish. It left a pleasant honey/vanilla aftertaste on my palate. Honeybush tea provides a nice base tea for other blends as it makes a great carrier of flavors. This one was no exception. (5 mins @ 212ºF, 1/2 tsp sugar)
Vanilla is a comfort flavor and scent. Nice comforting tea. I tried it warm and have it in the refridge to try later cold.
CommuniTEA Sample: Even though I am not a huge fan of it's cousin (Rooibos), I do enjoy Honeybush quite a bit. This is an excellent tea, both cold and hot. The bit of sweetness from the honeybush goes very well with the vanilla. Overall, a very nice evening tea to wind down the day.
More honeybush than vanilla, but a good tea! Could be a good base for other flavors in a blend.
Update for CommuniTEA: yep, I still love this one. 😋
I knew I would enjoy this because I like the Vanilla Ice Cream Cone tea (that uses it as a base) so much. It's simple, sweet, and delicious cold-brewed. (Haven't tried it hot).
I love caffeine. Herbal teas are my last to reach for. That was until the day I met Honeybush. HONEY HONEY!! Yea I enjoy Honeybush it is the closest to a black tea that is automatically decaffeinated. This vanilla tea makes for a nice gentle flavored, to be enjoyed after a long hard day.
If you are a vanilla fan...you must give this one a try. It's a lovely cup of tea...mild and naturally sweet. I added cinnamon and cream.☕️
Love that honeybush is decaf, and it gives a sweeter flavor to the vanilla than other teas do.
Delicious vanilla flavor! I love the sweetness of honeybush. Great evening tea to relax with.
A tasty alternative to rooibos vanilla, but doesn't manage to dethrone it as my favourite vanilla option. Still recommend it for vanilla fans, plus it works lovely in blends!
The vanilla isn't particularly strong, but when you add milk and sugar this makes a great sweet treat
One of my absolute favorites. No caffeine makes it good anytime
Really love this one. I'll be purchasing more of it when I run out of the sample.
So delicious! I love this tea. I’ve had similar vanilla teas before but with Rooibos and sometimes that can taste a little like artificial cake. But this tea is smooth and naturally sweet. I love the natural clean flavour. I’ll definitely be buying it regularly
One of my absolute favorites to drink at anytime, anyday, and anywhere! Love honeybush vanilla with a little bit of honey or rock sugar, but also great on its own.
This one is just ok, I didn't care for the after taste.
Not much vanilla flavor. I really wish they had actual vanilla pod pieces :(
A very comforting cup. Sometimes I just want a soothing non caffeinated cup of tea and the honeybush with a hint of vanilla does just that. It's a cup that serious tea drinkers and people who don't give a fig about tea can both enjoy and appreciate. I love it just on it's own, but if you want to get really crazy, add a little cream and sugar and you will feel like you are drinking a sugar cookie.
My favorite tea, strong taste and aroma, no sweetener needed, but nice with a splash of cream.
Great tea both on it s own and added to other blends.
So yummy. Nice vanilla flavor; sweet tasting cup of tea. Soothing, calming, nice evening treat.
I steeped a heaping teaspoon of this tea for 8 minutes. The flavor was weaker than I expected. It didn't need sugar, it was naturally mildly sweet. I think this one is good to sweeten up blends but on its own has me thinking there should be a bit more. Though, vanilla isn't my favorite flavoring so I'm a bit biased against it. It wasn't particularly woodsy or anything.
Lovely! The vanilla is gentle and natural, not at all overpowering, and complements the nutty, baked good type honeybush flavor very organically. Just the tiniest drop of honey brings out a bit more of the vanilla flavor without over-sweetening. A nice, cozy tea for a cold or rainy evening. Great on its own, but so far I've also liked the honeybush vanilla blended with honeybush apricot or honeybush chocolate! Haven't tried any other blending experiments with it yet, but seems like there's a lot of potential.
My mom really enjoys this one and shes not a big tea fan so that says something
I love the honeybush blends and this one was very pleasant with just a little extra flavor. Great on its own or with some almond milk.
Yummy hot but refreshing and soothing iced. A delightful find.
Soooo good. I like to mix it with other rooibos and honeybush flavors.
