I love the taste of this tea. And I love that I can have it anytime since there is no caffeine.
Rich, warm vanilla with the honeyed aroma and gentle toasty quality of Honeybush herb from South Africa.

I love the taste of this tea. And I love that I can have it anytime since there is no caffeine.
I was thrilled to discover the honeybush teas, as I don't love most red rooibos options, finding them too medicinal and/or woody for my taste. The honeybush vanilla was a very nice, mild blend, which I can guess would make a lovely base for blending with other teas to help lower caffeine. I do wish the vanilla taste was more pronounced, as it was very subtle and could have been a little bit stronger. Still, this made a very pleasant cup.
Not too sweet and it’s a subtle flavor. This is a great tea for when you want something simple but fragrant!
Really nice and mellow vanilla flavor, I found it enjoyable.
Nice fragrance prior to brewing of honeybush tea and a hint of vanilla. The vanilla flavor is very faint to me, but since I like honey bush tea by itself the blend is still enjoyable. No sugar or honey is needed and the tea is smooth as silk in the mouth. Nice.
It smells amazing, LIKE AMAZING. but, it tastes like eating a Chapstick.
The mellow hay flavor of the Honeybush blends nicely with the soft vanilla. A pleasant, caffeine free tea, but I think I enjoy the Honeybush Hazelnut a bit more.
Delicious desert tea, love it in the evening. Good tea for winding down.
The vanilla comes through great and is very smooth with the earthy honeybush
Out of all the honeybush and rooibos teas, this is a favorite. Its perfect to have by itself and mix as well with other teas, for example Rooibos teas, even some black teas.
I enjoy honeybush teas, especially as a warm, sweet, after-dinner treat. Honeybush vanilla is no exception. A little unsweetened almond milk adds just enough creaminess to make a comforting cup. I prefer it blended with honeybush chocolate, but I would not pass up a cup if offered!
Love love love this tea. The vanilla smells and taste great. It's the perfect tea to have at the end of a long day
Great evening tea without the “fake” vanilla flavor you find in many vanilla teas.
Love this tea, especially for mixing with other black or oolong teas. Much prefer to rooibos vanilla!
Perfect evening tea. Blows all the other roobios vanilla teas out of the water. Best? It doesn't get bitter or off tasting if boiled too long or kept warm for a long period (don't ask). It actually gets better! It gets just a touch of spiciness, like just the tiniest bit of pepper. After accidentally leaving it on the stove for way too long, I liked the flavor so much that I do it now on purpose!
In my search for a good tea to enjoy in the evening I purchased Vanilla Honeybush. It has no caffeine and a mild, slightly sweet flavor. I would like a little stronger vanilla flavor. I enjoy making a pot and drinking with a little sugar or honey and a splash of warm milk. It is one of the few “teas” that taste better the longer it steeps. It is a good replacement for nighttime snacking.
On its own, it is a sweet vanilla cup. However, I found that this tea truly shines for me when I add some of the fruit-based herbals with it to my teapot in a 1:1 ratio, especially Wild Strawberry, Berry Blast, and Blood Orange. The vanilla and honey flavors support the fruits in a dessert like fashion.
This was my first experience with Honeybush tea and I did not like it.
OK
You can really taste the honey flavor, enjoying it immensely!
Very sweet but love it as a treat or dessert tea. Also love to mix this one with honeybush hazelnut to cut the sweetness. Love, love, love all honeybush teas I've tried thus far!
Whilst honeybush itself gets 5⭐, this gets 4; not because it's worse than regular honeybush, but because it's not a great deal more vanilla-y. The difference in taste between honeybush and honeybush vanilla is far more miniscule than I'd hope, considering that Adagio ordinarily hits it out of the park with their vanilla teas (especially compared to any other retailer). Not a rating of distaste, but a rating of mild disappointment. It's still hard to be too mad, though, considering the honeybush remains as delicious as always.
A good honeybush tea. I don't taste the vanilla at all though.
This lovely and cozy warm vanilla tea is my absolute favorite!
Unsurprisingly similar to the Rooibos Vanilla, the honeybush version is a bit sweeter and a little less woodsy. Nice vanilla smell that is not overly artificial smelling
So delicious! And a great tea for the evening when you want something strong but without the caffeine.
Pretty mild taste, but nice. Maybe wouldn’t be my first pick, but a nice go to.
Repurchased for a friend. I haven t tried it, but she loves it.
As a lover of honeybush tea I thought I would like this but I don't. The hazelnut is really good but I don't know why vanilla is such a hard flavor for Adagio to get right. The rooibos vanilla has the same problem as this...strong vanilla smell but none when you taste it.
My little sister loves this tea. She says it taste like the honeybush friends from South Africa make.
Very smooth. Lightly sweet. Love this tea in the evening
The Honeybush teas are a delightful herbal option when caffeine is not desired!
My very first tea from my very first shipment from Adagio! And what a nice start.
This tea has a rich, mellow smell, a little sweet, with strong vanilla tones. The flavor was more delicate than I expected, even though I left the tea in a little longer than recommended. Strong vanilla flavor, but not overwhelming or unpleasantly so. This will definitely be a great everyday afternoon tea for me.
I have loved all of the vanilla flavored teas so far. I don't think they have a fake flavor at all.
This is my new FAV! Vanilla with a hint a vanilla. Add the sugar crystals and it's delicious!
Never had this before, liked it a lot - vanilla is just right
Really tasty! Very warm and comforting, and naturally sweet.
This a must for caffeine free tea lovers. It's a delightful and refreshing tea.
Sadly, I didn't really taste any vanilla or flavor that made this different from plain honeybush tea. I really like honeybush tea, so I still thought this was good (toasty, sweet, and smooth), just disappointed that it didn't have a vanilla flavor.
This was my first true honeybush tea. I have been looking for herbal (non-caffeinated) teas that I can drink late in the day. Though I have some rooibos teas that I enjoy, rooibos as a whole is not my favorite tea base, as to me it can lend a medicinal flavor to its tea. The honeybush in this tea is a great alternative to rooibos; it doesn't compete with the vanilla for flavor, so the vanilla can shine through. It makes for a tasty, mellow cuppa before bed. I'm also looking forward to mixing it with some of my fruity herbals.
Very basic tea with a hint of natural sweetness. I won't drink this by itself again but would probably be good mixed with something fruity.
One of my favorite go to teas. I always have to have this one in my pantry.
Love the hints of vanilla in the smell and after taste
There's a sweet woodsy flavor that takes prominence over any vanilla. The vanilla is more of an aftertaste that lingers behind the honeybush itself. It's pleasant on its own and also complements a wide range of other teas.
This is a good tea. I am giving it four stars instead of five because I slightly prefer the rooibos vanilla and feel they fulfill the same role. I enjoy both either as a base to mix with other flavors or just with a little cream and sweetener.
I sometimes mix this with other tea for that delicious vanilla boost
This Roobios is such a lovely way to end a meal. I drink it with a bit of honey and some almond milk/coconut milk creamer. It is smooth and so flavorful. Just a perfect way to wind down after a busy day.
Simple, yet delicious flavor to cure your tea needs.
The dry tea smells very sweet, bright, and fruity. The liquor is a dark red amber with a typical rooibos honey-sweetness and rich vanilla. The flavor is very bright and fruity like any other rooibos, but the vanilla adds a smooth sweet finish. This is a nice flavorful, but not overpowering tea that would accompany any light meal very well.
Edit: I got this for my brother and he said it was "Fantastic."
What a lovely tea. It’s softer and sweeter than the regular honeybush and the vanilla flavor is subtle and delightful. Looking forward to my next mug.
