The smell is a bit overpowering, but the taste isn't overly sweet. Will definitely try blending it with other teas.
Rich, warm vanilla with the honeyed aroma and gentle toasty quality of Honeybush herb from South Africa.

The smell is a bit overpowering, but the taste isn't overly sweet. Will definitely try blending it with other teas.
Slight touch of honey and mellow vanilla, perfect afternoon tea.
Wow! I ordered samples of honeybush vanilla and of cream tea in my first order, brewed a blend of both and loved them! They are also fantastic on their own. I will certainly be a repeat customer!
I'm a bit mixed on this. I think it would be great mixed with something, but I'm not sure what. It smells awesome in the bag. The vanilla flavor is OK, but not stellar. It is good iced. I will probably get this one again, but not a fave. Oh, also, it's very fine so I suggest a teabag instead of the mesh infuser I've been using.
Warm, slightly sweet, and with a heavenly aroma, this tea is perfect on cold nights!
Love this Decaf tea. The vanilla is the perfect compliment to the honey bush flavor.
I never tried honeybush teas before. I love the rich taste of rooibos and wanted to try something new. Honeybush vanilla did have an essence of honey. It was a warm comforting tea with a nice calming effect. Lovely.
This is the tea that convinced me that adagio was the way to go with loose tea. I was obsessed with a certain other brand of honeybush vanilla tea and I was almost certain that there was nothing that could top that. Well adagio's honeybush vanilla did. A wonderful desert tea or great right before bed. Also makes excellent iced tea as well!
This is seriously one of my favorite teas ever! So delicious. Perfect balance of sweet and nutty flavors. Delicious hot and iced!
I actually enjoy this one much more than the Rooibos Vanilla, the honeybush has a hard to describe quality that I find much more appealing, and a more pleasing aftertaste. Great hot or cold and always satisfying.
This is a fantastic herbal tea to mix with orange, peach, or other fruit flavored herbals. It's wonderful, and I'll definitely buy it again.
A rather interesting mix of vanilla with the honey-like flavor of the honeybush. I would consider buying this one again, but I'm not sure
This makes a refreshing iced tea, with no sweetener required. I find it a little too sweet for my tastes when hot. My husband, who does not like black or green teas, liked this iced. It's nice to have a caffeine free option for afternoons/evenings.
perfect. warm and inviting. my preferred option when I need a caffeine-free tea.
As expected, this is very similar to rooibos vanilla. Each is wonderful blended with spearmint or a fruity rooibos/honeybush such as peach or apricot, then iced. The vanilla is enough of a sweetener for me.
Love the taste. As an acid reflux sufferer, I can no longer use peppermint, Honeybush will actually help releive some of the pain. This is an every night drink for me
THis is great for mixing or by itself. It has a very rich and delicious vanilla flavour. Most other vanilla-flavoured teas that I have tried don't even come close to this one in terms of the depth and character of its vanilla flavour.
I'm usually not an avid tea drinker but this flavor combination got me hooked. I added a shot of honey just to emphasize both the vanilla and honey flavors of the tea and it tastes amazing. As my friend put it, 'it's like a decaffeinated cream soda!'
I truly hope this tea has as many health benefits as green tea because it's about to replace the vanilla green as my favorite. I can't even explain the vanilla/honey flavor of this - it's amazing. I can fully understand why someone else said it's 'cloying' as it is definitely the sweetest tea I've tried that didn't have fruit in it. I love it and will now be able to go (happily) completely caffeine free.
Light and fairly sweet. Honeybush Vanilla is good iced for a nice change of pace.
Loved it, as did my kids. Great with a bit of honey for a sore throat.
I mix this one with practically everything. It adds the perfect amount of sweetness!
this tea has a nice, light, soothing vanilla flavor. Very yummy.
Not bad, but thought the vanilla a little cloying here.
Bought this because I was looking for an alternate decaff tea. No matter how much tea I used or how long I infused it tasted weak and like fake vanilla.
This is a really nice caffeine free alternative. It is good by itself or mixed with almost anything else.
Tastes and smells just like the rooibos. do not like the tobacco smell.
I would give it a 3, but only since it is not my kind of tea. My wife loves it though (so it earns extra points). Very smooth and easy tea. Doesn't need much sweetener. I can see what she loves about it, but I am more of a black tea guy.
I liked it a lot! Very nice flavor and not to strong!
Sweet vanilla with a kick of red tea underneath that keeps it from being too simple. Perfection.
What brought me to this website was trying to find this tea for my mom. It helps her arthritis quite a bit, and we keep it on hand. Lovely vanilla flavor with a nice sweet taste.
I drink a lot of rooibos tea and thought of trying this since it is supposed to be similar. Indeed it is and the taste is really good, but the vanilla is not strong enough for me.
The vanilla flavor was a bit strong, but with milk it tasted a lot better
Smooth vanilla flavor. This is one of my favorite teas.
Nice vanilla taste. And it is decaf! What more could you want?
not a ton of flavor in this tea
This was good at first, but the more I had it the more I really didn't like it anymore. Then I tried foxtrot and I probably won't be drinking this until I run out of it.
Its like drinking hot choc. only its vanilla. Love it
Really good. Love the vanilla flavor. The vanilla does not taste like the flavoring you get in tea/coffee you would get at your local coffee shop. It is much more floral.
I originally got this tea for my boys to have a cup of tea with mama, but after I tried it I found that I really loved it as an evening cup. I like the simple, subtle flavor it's a good tea for relaxing. It also makes a great glass of iced tea when sweetened with an orange simple syrup. This is going to be one of our summertime favorites for sure!
All Honeybush tea gives a woody aftertaste. But With this vanilla flavor, the aftertaste is more mild. you can definitely taste the vanilla flavor, and its sweet. Still a light tea, and you can taste the vanilla flavor and the slight honey flavor together, Which, In my opinion, tastes pretty good.
I've tried HB Vanilla from other vendors, and like theirs a bit better. I'm used to large bits of Vanilla Bean. This has a smokier flavor than I'm used to, but still good!
Great with other flavors. And no caffeine! Good by itself too!
This is perhaps my favorite of all 'teas' I've ordered through Adagio. Tastes smooth and sweet and the smell is divine. People come from across the room to ask what it is.
On its own, this is a little weak and bland. But, it's great for mixing with other teas, especially anything with fruit. Could have more vanilla flavor. I do prefer the Rooibos Vanilla to this one, as it is stronger. Prepared with stevia.
I'm a huge honeybush fan, but this one is a little weak for me. My daughter loved it though.
I bought this because they were out of vanilla rooibos. Prefer the punch of rooibos. Certainly too mild for my taste.
Lovely, sweet aroma before and after brewing. It may just get me to cut back on sweeteners. I've been slipping away from drinking traditional teas and opting for rooibos, and now honeybush. Will get again.
I don't care for the honeybush vanilla as much as the standard black vanilla decaf (one of my all time favorites!), but this is a pleasant alternative. A nice vanilla aroma, not too strong.
I love the rooibos teas, particularly peach rooibos, but I have not found any honeybush that I like very much. I prefer honeybush chocolate to the vanilla, but it is not a favorite either. But to show how different tastebuds are, honeybush vanilla is all that a friend of mine drinks. I am rather glad to finish this one so that I can now open and try rooibos almond.
