★★★☆☆

This tea has a strong scent in the bag, of vanilla, honey, kind of woodsy, and slightly medicinal. Upon steeping, though the medicinal smell was gone, I found the tea itself a little weak. Possibly I didn't use enough or it needed to be steeped longer. It was good, but not a repeat purchase, I think.

★★★★☆

Honeybush tea and vanilla was not as great a combination as I thought it would be, but still nice for relaxing.

★★★★★

Very sweet and soft. Great with a bit of milk and sugar.

★★★★★

Surprisingly robust and distinct for something with vanilla flavoring. Tastes far better than Vanilla Rooibos in my opinion. I will definitely have to order a larger quantity next time.

★★★★★

It's a really good, sweet-smelling and tasting tea with a slightly different tone than other vanilla ones I've had. It's great on its own and when mixed to another tea (especially with fruit ones).

Perfect with a spoonful of sugar or Splenda. Makes a good dessert tea.

First impression: a lot less vanilla-smelling and a lot more herbal-smelling than I was expecting.
After I brewed it, though, it smelled really, really good. It’s sweet but not overpowering, and you can definitely smell the vanilla. It’s not too heavy of a tea but it’s still fairly substantial. It could fill you up a little, but not the way a cup of Earl Grey might. It’s heavier than green tea, which is a positive for me as I don’t like green tea.
You can really taste the vanilla, but it’s not the first thing that hits you. It’s very sweet without sugar or milk. Sort of tastes like a grassy honeysuckle. If you were to add milk, which I’m inclined to do, it becomes a really lovely dessert-type tea. It’s a little mind-blowing how good this tea was, to be honest, and I’m not even a fan of herbal teas. Very unique but totally awesome. Dusting of sugar not required for sweetness, and in fact I prefer it without.

This is slightly sweeter than a rooibos with a nice vanilla taste. This is a good evening tea since I think it's caffeine-free.

★★★★☆

Nicely flavored tea. Not overly strong and probably goo have more of a vanilla flavor. This is another tea that is good to try mixing with other teas to create your own blend.

★★★☆☆

Actually, I am neutral on this teal...on account I never received it in this order. Instead, it was replaced by the honeybush chocolate...to my dislike. I don't like chocolate in my tea. Only coffee.

Having had to give up caffeine due to a migraine disorder, I was looking for a new every day tea. I can stop searching. This is the perfect tea to have anytime of day. The vanilla taste is warm and subtle, not overpowering and perfectly compliments the tea.

★★★★★

This tea was creamy deliciousness! So flavorful. Perfect with an oatmeal cookie. Great hot or on ice.

A good neutral flavor when I don't want anything too strong. I love having this on hand to blend with other stronger flavors.

★★★★★

Fantastic! It's my tea version of coffee. It's well balanced and delish!

★★★★☆

This tea is super sweet, even without sugar. It tastes a little bit like vanilla ice cream, and is the perfect drink for after dinner.

★★★★★

I got a free sample of this with another order and immediately reordered it-it's amazing in the evening when you want a warming, comforting tea without caffeine. It's good plain or with honey and cream.

I use Honeybush Vanilla in a lot of my blends, but I also love it straight -- moreso than many other serviceable flavors. It's comfort tea. It's the love-worn wubbie of honeybush flavors. If you serve Honeybush Vanilla to someone and they don't care for it, keep a very close eye on them. They may not be human.

I blended with 2 parts candy cane 2 parts chocolate, 1 part honeybush vanilla. Favorite blend so far, great for ANYTIME of the year~ So yummy!

I'd never tried honeybush before so I took a leap of faith. From when I opened the bag it was not what I expected in a very bad way. It smelt horribly artificial and the taste was no better. I'll try to deplete the sample size I got but I'll never order it again.

this just isn't my style. tastes very woody, so i passed it along.

★★★★☆

I like this honeybush a lot. The vanilla flavor is strong but not overpowering, and it smells wonderful.

★★★★★

My daughter and I both love this mild tea with a delightful aroma. It is great that we can enjoy a warm cup of comfort without any caffeine!

I usually take honey with my tea, but this one is sweet enough all on its own. I feel very calm now.

This tea is light and sweet, with a nice, not overpowering vanilla flavor. Since it's caffeine-free, I mainly drink it as an after-dinner tea, and it's really nice for that purpose. It's a good one to drink straight, but I have added honey to it when I have a sore throat and it makes it even sweeter and delicious. I think this would be an interesting tea to try mixing with other teas. It's also one of the few teas that I haven't managed to screw up by under- or over-steeping, which I appreciate.

Nice on it's own, really good when mixed with the blood orange herbal tea, and excellent when mixed with some a bit of sochu.

★★★★☆

Nice vanilla flavor, not too strong. I tried it as an iced tea - it was good.

★★★★☆

Liked the subtle difference in flavor the honeybush provides as compared to some rooibos vanilla teas I have had in the past. Makes a good alternative from the Honeybush Hazelnut, for a little variety.

This is a great non-caffeine tea! The difference in honeybush and rooibos is subtle, but I do prefer the honeybush. It tastes just a bit richer to me. I like this vanilla alone, but it is especially nice to blend with other teas. It has a mellow, slightly sweet flavor. The vanilla is not very strong, either in taste or aroma, which is why I vote good rather than great. Enjoy.

★★★★☆

This tea is wonderful. Light and fragrant and with a bit of honey it was a perfect addition to my afternoon.

★★★★★

No complaints. Great flavor, and fun to mix with other teas.

★★★★☆

i like this tea. not toooverpowering. good mied aswell.

★★★★☆

This is a very smooth, mild tea. It's certainly different from rooibos, but it has a similar flavor.

★★★★★

Subtle honey flavor added with the overtones of vanilla.

My standard I-want-something-to-drink-but-it-is-10-pm cuppa. Excellent with a little honey to bring out and mellow out the vanilla.

★★★★★

I love it! This is my number tea 1 right now! Can't wait to try more honeybush teas.

★★★★★

Fantastically delish!! I wasn't sure what to expect, and I am pleasantly surprised at how good this is! The aroma rocks - and the taste carrys through.

Being somewhat new to tea drinking, a friend suggested I try honeybush teas, and this one is just great. I added a little honey and that made a little too sweet, so this tea must be sweet on it's own (will try without honey next time). Vanilla is very apparent. Will probably rebuy.

Very sweet and delicious. If you like rooibos tea, you will love this!

Two things make this tea just ok: it is not packed with flavor like I thought it would be, and it is IMPOSSIBLE to keep in a tea ball. I used two different kinds of tea balls for this tea and then ran it through my coffee pot with a coffee filter. In order to get any flavor I had to do this twice per cup, which takes a lot of time, and this tea is therefore not 'good on the go'. I really really liked the tea with sugar and honey, but without it was just blah.

I tried both the vanilla rooibos and this one, and I have to say that I prefer the honeybush. It has a stronger, more pleasant vanilla aroma and makes a sweeter tea (which I love). On its own, the flavor is subtle, but it really shines when blended with other rooibos/honeybush teas.

★★★★★

Staff, Christian, listened carefully to my tastes and suggested this tea with no caffeine. What a find! I highly recommend and anxious to try others.

★★★★★

I love the smoothness of honeybush teas, and the vanilla flavor is the perfect addition. Sweet and creamy, even without anything added (although coconut creamer and stevia render it borderline decadent.)

★★★★★

This tea is really great - similar to the Leo blend that I love so much!

★★★★★

Delicious tea. Sweet but not overwhelming, with a nice vanilla undertone. Really good with a little milk before bed!

★★★★★

I loved this tea! I had never tried a honeybush tea before, but now I am a huge fan! It is a sweet, vanilla tea that is completely tasty! I think it, too, will be a good tea to try blending with other teas. I am sure it will compliment other teas very nicely.

★★★★☆

I like this one mixed with honeybush caramel. The flavor seemed to come out much better with just a touch of sweetener.

Delicious. Soothing. Calming. Relaxing. Simple, yet elegant.

I blended this with honeybush hazelnut. It smelled a bit overpowering in the bag, but once brewed it had the perfect punch of vanilla. Nice.
