I normally need a bit of milk for my tea, but this is one tea that doesn't need anything. I wish the tea were even stronger, so I might try adding more than the suggested amount of leaves next time around.
Rich, warm vanilla with the honeyed aroma and gentle toasty quality of Honeybush herb from South Africa.

Wow! I finally found an herbal tea that I LOVE! This tea is sweet and perfect with sugar, honey and milk. It's a great dessert sipping tea!
This was my first experience with honeybush. It wasn't quite as good as I'd expected, but it definitely wasn't bad...just not for my own taste. It was slightly similar to rooibos, but there was a different taste to it that is hard to describe. I love rooibos, so I was surprised I didn't become an instant fan of honeybush.
I purchased a sample of this last week. that sample ended up at work for my late afternoon tea (I stop drinking caffeine at lunch) and have purchased the larger bag now. I really enjoy drinking this tea at anytime of the day.
Very yummy with some honey! Wonderful dessert tea!
I hadn't tried honeybush before I tried this flavor. It was quite sweet and maplely tasting. It's definitely a dessert in a cup. I tend to just put a pinch of this tea in with chamomile and fruit teas.
What a lovely tea! It's very mellow and sweet, and the vanilla doesn't overpower the entirety of the cup.
This is the perfect tea to have anytime of day. The vanilla taste is warm and subtle, not overpowering and perfectly compliments the tea
A perfect blend of vanilla and honeybush flavors. It's a great tea to have while relaxing on a cold winter evening before bedtime.
As a roobios and vanilla fan, I decided to give this a try. Really great tea, the vanilla flavor really makes this perfect!
Wonderful sweet, woody taste. A bit like chewing on candied wood - but in a good way.
Delicious and smooth. a tea that will likely be great iced :)
The scent is amazing- I could smell honey-vanilla as soon as I popped open the bag. I mixed in amber and white sugar crystals, as well, and the result is just mouth-watering. It's such a smooth, almost creamy flavor and goes great with my vanilla chai tea cookies.
This tea blends really well with most other teas. I like to use this to add another kick of flavor to black teas.
This tea has a very nice mild flavour and is excellent sweetened with honey.
I absolutely love it! The staff was extremely helpful in my selection - very polite, well-educated on the various tea types and beyond patient in answering all of my questions. Adagio is the best.
I'm not usually a huge fan of rooibos-type things, on their own, but the vanilla elevates it. It's very sweet, and not an everyday drink in and of itself for me, but lends itself well to blending when you want to add a bit of honeyed sweetness.
My first honeybush tea. Nice vanilla flavour. It's better with honey.
The vanilla scent is nice, although it has this odd herbal taste I feel? It's not bad though
Light and sweet, with a delicious vanilla flavor. Tastes great on its own as well as blended with other teas!
Uber delicious! The vanilla really rounds it out nicely.
This tea has a nice vanilla flavor over the light honeybush sweetness and goes down very smooth.
This tea was my first dive into rooibos tea. It's not bad. Not too strong if that's what you enjoy, very subtle vanilla notes. Makes you smile. Not my favorite, but I'll probably buy it again. :)
The vanilla flavor was distinct in this sample. I loved this tea.
The flavor is very subtle. I think it would be good mixed with other kinds of tea, but not by itself.
If you don't like strong teas, you'll love this. It's very light and the vanilla is not overpowering.
The tea itself is good, I'm sure, but definitely not for my tastes. I'm glad I tried a sample first.
I prefer this vanilla to the rooibos vanilla. It smells and tastes stronger. But where this tea really shines is in a mix. Rooibos has a tendency to dampen the flavor of other teas, which is very true for the vanilla. The honeybush vanilla is a lot less guilty of this, adding a vanilla flavor while letting everything else come through too.
This was alright, but I think that I just don't like herbal teas as much as regular tea.
This is yummy! I usually have a cup of this before bed. My first attempt at posting a review got eaten so let's try this again! I was put off by the aroma at first when I opened the bag-- it smelled very artificial. However, that definitely mellows out once brewed. The vanilla taste wasn't 'fake' as I expected it to be. Tasty and relaxing!
I got this as an alternative to caffeinated teas and was not disappointed. Its warm, has a caramel-like taste that helps me forget I'm not drinking black tea. The vanilla makes this taste like the warm air in a house full of baking cookies.
This was good. It's very sweet on it's own, but I used it to mix with other teas.
This exciting tea provides a rich nutty vanilla flavor like a subtle latte.
This tea smells awful when you open the bag but tastes pretty good once its brewed.
Wow. This tea is very very sweet. I kinda like it in an odd way. My problem was that the honey by far over powers the vanilla, but I probably steeped it a little too long. Other than that it's a nice sweet tea.
Absolutely amazing. The smell and taste of this tea is by far one of the best I've had from adagio. I mix it with thai chai and it's such a wonderful combination.
lightly sweet, distinctive and refreshing. lots of debris
Sweet with a definite honey taste (as befits a honeybush tea). The vanilla flavor is lighter than its rooibos counterpart but the tea is sweeter overall.
One of my absolute favorites, very sweet and strong even without adding honey.
Love vanilla teas. However I prefer them mixed with other fruit flavors.
The vanilla flavoring tasted a little artificial to me, and it was lacking the kind of 'beany' complexity I expected. The aroma actually reminds me of butterscotch. Still pleasant and sweet though. Kind of an unsubtle ice cream flavor.
I was excited to try this tea because I'm looking for something naturally caffeine free to drink at night. The first cup was ok, I wasn't very impressed though. It seemed a bit one dimensional. I enjoyed my second cup a lot more, and I could detect the sweetness and complexity that other reviewers had talked about. Second cup brewed longer at a lower temperature. The pieces are very small, so they slip through the filter quite easily.
I found this one cloyingly sweet both in scent
When I tried this next to Rooibos vanilla, the Honeybush Vanilla won hands down. The honeybush has a stronger, more 'grounded' taste that carries the vanilla quite well. A great caffeine-free vanilla option!
This tea is perfect for mixing with rooibos teas to take the edge off. Goes great with caramel or hazelnut cream and sugar.
Soooo yummy! Had it today in the middle of the day and it was perfect. I have a new found love of Honeybush and Rooibos teas!
It's a solid 'go-to' for a desert tea, or a morning tea. It doesn't need really anything added to get what you want from it, and it pairs well with many other teas, if you're into that sort of thing.
It's a nice tea, but it didn't have as much body as I like.
Not what I was expecting when I got my free sample, but a surprisingly good tea. This comes from a devoted black tea drinker. Important - don't add cream. The flavor is smooth and creamy on its own.
I think honeybush teas are in my top three favorite types of tea! The vanilla flavor just makes it even better!
