I love the subtle vanilla flavor of this tea. I'm not one for strong tea so this is great for when I want to relax.
Rich, warm vanilla with the honeyed aroma and gentle toasty quality of Honeybush herb from South Africa.

I love the subtle vanilla flavor of this tea. I'm not one for strong tea so this is great for when I want to relax.
I really liked this mixed with a little Cream flavored black tea. I let it steep for quite a while (on accident) so I drank it iced and it was super smooth! Almost had a fruity taste. I love it!
I thought I would love this, but instead I just liked it. It's perfectly nice, just missing something for me.
Another tea I got specifically to put in blends. Ok on it's own, but great when blended with something else, like strawberry or peach!
Excellent on its own or blended with more strongly flavored honeybush or rooibos.
I thought this tea was pretty good but the flavors a bit too mellow for my liking. I personally enjoy the rooibos vanilla much more.
This tea smells lovely in the bag and while steeping. I used the paper teabags, as I have learned from experience that rooibos and honeybush teas don't play nice with tea balls. There is just the right amount of vanilla. The honeybush has a less medicinal taste than the rooibos.
I am a huge fan of Adagio's entire line of honeybush teas. My favorite was the vanilla, it was an incredible cup and I was able to steep it several times. It doesn't need much sweetener, and it wasn't completely overpowered by the vanilla. Definitely try honeybush, it's amazing and great for company.
A pleasant surprise! I got this as a free gift from someone but wasn't too sure since I've had both the vanilla black and rooibos vanilla before. The black vanilla isn't too bad, something better off blending with, and the rooibos vanilla tasted too medicinal, but this one is very smooth and sweet with just the right amount of vanilla to be perfect but not overwhelming.
This tea is fantastic!! It seems a little strong to the nose upon opening the package and even after it has steeped. However, the smoothness this tea has upon tasting is quite surprising! I feel that I would enjoy this tea when 'under the weather'.
Nice brown sugar quality to it. Only needs a tiny bit of sugar.
This is one of my favorite Adagio teas yet. It's light, simple, sweet and delicious. Perfect with a bit of stevia and almond milk before bed.
While I enjoy the honeybush chocolate a bit better, the vanilla is also very good. very comforting tea.
In the bag, the vanilla scent is lovely and has a creamy undertone, almost reminiscent of yogurt. Once it reaches the cup, the floral tones come out and makes this tea just delicious. A new favorite, for sure.
it is pretty good tea it is a little weak for my taste but it is good for an herbal tea
I had high hopes for this tea, but the vanilla is a little too subtle for me. I tried mixing it with Honeybush Hazelnut, but the vanilla flavor still didn't come through enough. If you are looking for a simple subtle vanilla tea, this may be right for you.
Bit too sweet for me to have it alone very much, but a great tea for blending - goes especially well with almond, or cream. Definitely a different flavor than the black vanilla tea you can get here, and its a more authentic taste, too.
This is one of my favorite teas. It makes a great iced tea by itself, or blended with hazelnut or caramel.
Because the honeybush tea itself has a mild flavor, it's a wonderful partner to sweet flavors like vanilla that you want to taste smooth and inoffensively pleasant. If you like making blends, this is a great tea to have on hand. It's just a little bit sweet and it smooths over the rough edges in other flavors without adding any abrasiveness of its own to a mix. I find myself reaching for it often. (And its scent is less aggressively vanilla than the Vanilla black or the Vanilla Oolong).
Oh my goodness. I'm a fan of vanilla from the get go, but this is just heedy enough without becoming overbearing and I absolutely love it. I just had some with some of those amazing vanilla cookies adagio offers and it was beyond amazing. I'm definitely going to need more of this, and soon.
Very similar to the vanilla roiboos -- a soft flavor palette and a smoother finish than the roiboos. Beautiful color and interesting scent. Excited to have a few more cups!
There is a nice balance of vanilla in this tea. I do really like it, though if I had to pick a favorite among roobois I would not pick this one. However, if you like sugar in tea, this one is great lightly sweetened.
i might not have had enough tea in the infuser when i made this, but the taste was very weak. i'll have to try again with more to see if that helps at all.
The only problem I have with this is some pieces slip through my strainer no matter what I do. Despite that, this tea is warm and flavorful worth a try.
As soon as I opened the bag I could smell it it was wonderful and smelt like honey sticks from fairs I used to go to. It didn't smell as good just boiled though and I had to add honey and milk, I like my tea that way but it was a overall sweet and comforting tea. I don't think I tasted much of the vanilla, but the honey is defiantly there Would recommend.
I previously tried the Honeybush Chocolate and enjoyed it but this one I enjoy MUCH more. Again light on intensity of the flavors but just enough to tickle your tongue with sweetness
I could see this working well in a blend, but I don't think I'll drink this on its own. It's not bad, it just feels incomplete.
Love this tea! It smells delicious and it's such a great compliment with other teas. There's a certain creaminess and sweetness that is added when you steep this but it's not too overpowering. Definitely a great tea that compliments fruity teas!
This is a perfect dessert tea. I love roobios chai, and I wanted to try out a honeybush flavor. this one totally delivers. It is a a sort of nutty vanilla that just tastes fantastic with a little milk and sugar. Love it
Honeybush vanilla is tasty, very sweet and a delicate cup of tea. Would recommend it for breakfast or brunch, its too light-bodied for dinner.
It's ok, not super fantastic, not something I'd buy again.but it works as a stand by tea
Very smooth, very nice! Usually not a fan of sweet teas, but this was just right!
Take this with a grain of salt for what it's worth. I don't particularly like rooibos flavors. I like adding a little to some of my blends for color, but I don't like the flavor. It tastes like vanilla and it tastes like rooibos. If you like these things you should like this. I don't.
Honeybush seems to pair better with vanilla than with the other flavors I've tried (chocolate and hazelnut, specifically) but where it really shines is when blended with other teas.
I think this just isn't the tea for me. My friend (who enjoys honeybush) loves it, but it's far too cloying for my personal taste. She tells me its a good honeybush, though!
This tea lacks body and the vanilla flavor doesn't seem to blend as well with the honeybush as one might expect. That said, it's a great base to blend with warm rooibos flavors (this and the rooibos caramel were made for each other, I swear.) Also good to drink if you want something warm but don't have the stomach for a heavier tea.
No need to put sugar or other sweeteners in this tea! Delicious. Light enough flavor that I would even consider trying to mix it with another tea. Yummmm!
this one was remarkable on its own, but when i blended it with some hazelnut it turned out nicely
I was pretty excited to try this tea, but to my surprise it just wasn't for me. Although my step-dad really enjoyed it.
This tea is really sweet and tasty- great for when you want to avoid eating dessert!
Nice mild vanilla flavor, probably good for mixing.
My first honeybush tea ever and it's simply yummy! Just the right amount of creamy sweetness from the vanilla without overpowering the slightly woody flavor of the honeybush. Great for people who are looking for something with less caffeine. It's also a wonderful tea for blending.
I love the flavor of this tea. The subtle spices and vanilla mix very well. My husband likes addes a little sweetener but I enjoy it as is. It is a wonderful evening or after dinner tea.
This is my first time trying honeybush and I LOVED IT! The base was nice and sweet with a woody flavor and was backed up with warm brown-sure like vanilla. This would work great to add vanilla flavor to your blends.
Absolutely delicious! I drank my cup with milk and only a little sugar. The vanilla taste comes across wonderfully. No bitter aftertaste. Recommended!
Wonderful and flowery sweetness in every sip. Its naturally sweet.
I like this even better than the rooibos vanilla - it is heaven with a bit of milk!
Nice and sweet, with a unique taste that must be the honeybush in there.
I honestly dislike Rooibos. I tried this tea out first and I couldn't put it down. Different taste so I'm sure that's why it appeals to others.
I've never had any red teas before so I didn't know what to expect. It was so much sweeter than I imagined! It doesn't even need sugar.
