This is possibly my favorite honeybush I've tried so far. The aroma of this tea is absolutely delicious.
Mellow, sweet-toasty flavor of Honeybush herb from South Africa with hazelnuts. Creamy, cozy and nutty.

This is possibly my favorite honeybush I've tried so far. The aroma of this tea is absolutely delicious.
I've had this in multiple blends before, and I was curious to see what it tasted like on its own. The hazelnut can be a bit overwhelming at first, but I've found that letting the bag sit open on my kitchen counter for a day gets rid of some of the astringency that can build up in the plastic bag. Great with milk!
Very sweet. The hazelnut lessens the fruity flavor of some of the other honeybush teas. A great cozy tea to drink before bed.
I didn't love this tea. It has a weird taste that I can't describe. Sort of 'fake'.
This is one of my favorite teas and would recommend it to anyone and would buy it as a gift.Love this Tea its great! You have to buy it!
Not bad but a little fake tasting. Its better with slightly less tea.
Sweet, nutty, needing nothing, but a bit of sweet and milk goes a long way.
The hazelnut flavor is very strong! It smells great and I enjoy the nutty flavor.
Quite similar to the Ceylon black hazelnut flavored tea, without the buzz. Loses a litter character, too, but worth it for a quick evening spot of hot tea.
I liked this. Nutty and yet not too heavy like you would with a black tea
Good for when you want caffeine-free nutty flavor.
I have actually tried this tea via a wonderful friend, the other day!
I am not the biggest honeybush friend, but I LOVE hazelnut. This tea is nutty and sweet, almost like a dessert tea!
This was my experience with honeybush and herbal teas. Taste is mild and nutty. The hazelnut flavor adds an extra depth to the overall cup.
Ordered this as a sample tea. I really want more hazelnut from it.
I really enjoyed this tea, the hazelnut lends it a pleasant flavor.
A nice honey bush tea. Honey bush is already a sort of nutty tasting tea , in my opinion, so the hazelnut just brought warmth to the cup.
This is a mellow, pleasing tea with a wonderful, soft flavor. I drink it alone or mix it with other teas and it works well either way.
I love that this tea is sweet without needing to add any sugar. It reminds me of Nutella a bit!
This tea is absurdly delicious! Honestly, I love anything hazelnut, but the combination of hazelnut AND honeybush is ridiculously good.
This is a very woody tea--I'm reminded of my experiences chewing on bark as a childhood, and the taste sort of reminds me of the smell of wood chips. NOT A BAD THING. Just very earthy, very mild. I haven't tried blending with it yet, but my guess is that it might be easily overpowered. We'll have to see~
After reading the description and seeing hazelnut I was sold on this tea, sadly the honeybush half did not live up to my hopes
Great- nutty and warm tasting, great for colder weather.
Wonderful fall tea- nutty and creamy with just a bit of tang. Seems like it would blend well.
I just can't convince myself to like this one. I find the smell off-putting, and it tastes just like it smells. I may mix it with the honeybush chocolate to use up the bag, but I'm glad I only got a sampler of this one!
It's not bad, but not super special awesome either. It's a good tea for dunking biscotti in.
Not my favorite of the honeybush teas. The hazelnut flavor seemed a tad artificial to me.
Light in flavor sweet taste of honey , and light hazelnut flavor.Again I enjoy the black tea more but I'm willing to give all the teas a try.
It's my first time buying a honeybush tea. Tastes woodsy and sweet. Subtle, but nice, hazelnut flavor.
This is delicious and the smell is heavenly as soon as you open the pack. The hazelnut taste is perfect and I think once I perfect the brewing strength, I'll be using it to help kick my coffee habit.
**update** I purchased a 3oz bag when my sample ran out, and it was awful. Nothing like the sample at all. There was a rancid/acidic taste and smell to the tea that had NOT been present in my previous purchase. I am returning the larger bag and will be ordering more of the sample sizes.
A wonderful hazelnut flavor, perfect for cold autumn nights! I expected it would be too sweet, but it was just right.
I ordered this tea as my free sample, but after the first cup I added a larger bag to my cart for my next order. Smooth and robust, this tea is just right for a cold winter evening. I like adding a bit of milk or cream to mine.
This is so good! It is smooth and creamy! Perfect to blend with warm milk!
I like the rich flavoring of this tea. I've been making a latte of sorts by adding some hazelnut coconut creamer and it's delicious!
This was not at all what I expected. It's got a sweetness to it that I have to assume is from the honeybush that makes it suited to drinking in the evening as a sort of 'dessert tea'. I can't drink it in the morning, it's too sweet.
wasn't a big fan of this. the hazelnut was so subtle you could barely find it. Just not one of my favorites. Very mellow unique taste. I would recommend you try it but I wouldn't buy it.
I received this tea as a free sample in one of my orders. I really enjoyed this tea as an evening tea. It helped me relax. This tea has a great smell...and it is not bitter at all. I recommend this tea for all.
It was so acrid and nasty smelling that I didn't even make the sample. I agree with previous reviewers, smells like cleaning product.
I love the hazelnut tea!!! It's very comforting, has a great aroma, and a beautiful color.
I like it, smells good and it tastes as I expected it to.
not really what expected. Way too sweet for my taste
This is quite delicious. The aroma is pleasant and the flavor is soothing. This is what I like to have in the morning instead of coffee.
I really like hazelnut in general, and honeybush is even good on its own. The nutty compliment isn't overpowering, and works well.
Hazelnut has that distinct flavor from all of the other nuts. It tastes as good as any dessert drink, like hot chocolate.
This tea has a great aroma and the flavor of hazelnut is very well balanced.
My least favorite of the honeybush/rooibos blends, but still pretty good. I used to 2.50-3.00 grams and steeped for 5-6 minutes using 6oz of 200-210 degree water. If you like hazelnut you'll love this but I prefer to taste the honeybush or a tiny bit of sweetness like in the citron or bonita rooibos blends from Adagio.
This tea has the most perfect hazelnut flavor. I usually don't go for anything but black teas when it comes to flavors, but this one has grown on me and has become my nightly cup. I'd love to try it iced, too.
I generally prefer my rooibos tea in a blend, and this does not disappoint. I would recommend this with a malty black tea.
Excellent! I love the sweet flavoring of it. Great sample. :)
I enjoy most hazelnut flavored things and I enjoyed this one too! I found it to have a mild flavor which is nice to have in my collection.
I loved this! It's sweet, but not too overpowering. I loved it after dinner. I am not really a fan of rooibos teas, so when I first saw the honeybush I was a little skeptic. Honeybush in general is a new favorite of mine, and I don't even miss my black tea.
