I love this tea so much! I am an insomniac and so I carefully avoid caffeine after noon. Unfortunately, most herbal teas are dissatisfying. All winter long, this was my constant warmer-up, my constant, tasty, rich herbal evening drink. Everyone I have served this to has fallen in love. It's good plain or with soy milk.
Earthy- that's a great word to describe this tea. It tastes amazing with some vanilla creamer.
This was pretty tasty. This is the first honeybush tea I've tried so I'm not expert, but it was pleasant.
The hazelnut tops this off for a comforting and rich flavor that I drink in the evenings. Love it.
Delicious hazelnut aroma and flavor. Delivered more flavor than I was expecting, in a good way! I love hazelnut coffee but find that coffee often overpowers that hazelnut flavor, the honeybush compliments it.
Nutty, mellow, and slightly sweet, I take it sweetened further and with milk for a relaxing evening cup.
I tried a few of the honeybush and rooibos varieties but this is the one that stuck with me enough that I made a point to make again. Warm and toasty, it's exactly what I want on a cold day.
This tea really tastes unlike anything else I've ever had. Not sure I would get it again, but it is certainly a unique tea experience.

This tea has a great aroma. The honeybush and hazelnut balance each other out to make for a great late evening tea.
An earthy flavor. I like to add vanilla or other flavors for a blend that mellows it out.
This is a sweet tea, which is right in my wheelhouse (I AM a Southerner, after all!) Honeybush is caffeine-free, too. And hazelnut is just plain delicious.
This is such a delicious blend of flavors!!! I was hesitant to try it because I didn't really enjoy the honeybush vanilla but this impressed me :-)
I love hazelnut. I love it with chocolate, with coffee, with almost anything. I liked this tea for the most part. I added a touch of cream, and then I added a few (like, 4 crystals for 18-ounces) of the amber sugar crystals while it was brewing to develop the flavor. That was a mistake. This tea is incredibly sweet on its own. the tea itself is pretty nutty and almost toasty, but the hazelnut is... artificial. I love the pu erh hazelberry, which I assume contains the same 'natural hazelnut flavor,' but in this... it's not a very good thing. I'll try it iced and see what happens... but I certainly can't be much more disappointed.
Not my usual cup of tea, but it tastes rather nice with some honeybush vanilla and aome brown sugar c:
Lovely, comforting, gentle hazelnut flavor. In the bag, it has an almost liquer smell.

This has been the least satisfying of the honeybush teas I've tried from this site. Rather artificial, but if you blend it with a strong black tea it's not bad. Does not stand well on it's own.
Honeybush hazelnut is my new favorite tea. It's got a little bit of natural sweetness, but not too much. You know those delicious smelling nutty cake candles that you want to eat but can't, because it's a candle? This is like drinking one of those. Amazing.
This has an amazing nutty flavor and smell, it also goes fantastic with blends! I love it!

Honeybush tends to mildly nutty to begin with. It has a more rounded, mild flavor so it blends well with something like hazelnut without bringing any sharpness or astringency. I don't think the flavor level is strong enough for those who like adding milk to their tea, but those who like their teas straight, it's a great for casual drinking. I haven't tried it yet, but I suspect it'd be good chilled as well.
This is everything you could possibly want out of a tea: full-flavored without being overwhelming, pleasantly sweet, and comforting to drink. I will absolutely be ordering more of this in the future.
Fantastic Hazelnut taste. I've never been a fan of Hazelnut coffee but I really enjoyed this one. I'll definitely order it again.
EW! I tried it and it's either too strong or it's just not 'my cup of tea'. It tastes like burnt leather and plastic. I tried to like it especially since I love the other flavors that I tried but this one is a big NO.
Great tea - alone or mixed with vanilla. Good straight up or with a bit of cream and sugar.
I love hazelnut but the honeybush is too strong. Or maybe it's the hazelnut. I do want to try to mix it with other teas.
It's like drinking honey-drizzled hazelnuts. Raw hazelnuts, as opposed to roasted (which would have been the preferred flavor). Still, it's a very smooth cup. I think for a more toasty flavor, I'll add a bit of roasted buckwheat when I brew this one again.
I'm not quite sure how to review this. I purchased this after trying a sample my coworker had ordered. Hers was fantastic, but when I ordered my own sample size it had a plastic, chemical odor. I brewed it thinking maybe it was just the bag and the tea tasted the same... She also smelled it and agreed something was off. Maybe I got a bad batch?
Oh, this is just lovely! Super toasty tasting, and this was the first time I'd tried honeybush instead of rooibos. I feel like it has a little less flavor to the 'tea' part, but the toasty hazelnut is just sooo good.
The hazelnut essence is fairly strong and it does seem to dominate the honeybush slightly. But, I enjoy hazelnut very much, so I find it a pleasant brew.
I had to let it steep for a long time and add a lot of sugar to get a good taste. Without that, it was kind of flat and tasted more like hot water than anything.
Not my favorite, but my friend really likes it. I am just not too fond of the honeybush teas.
Beautiful aroma and flavor. Reminds me of a type of chai tea I had only once and have a hard time finding anywhere. Excellent with tea biscuits and cream!
This honeybush hazelnut knocked me out of the park! I wanted some rooibos but I always have a hard time keeping the leaves out of the bottom of the teapot. The honeybush not only solves this problem, but solves it with an even warmer and more woody taste than the rooibos.
It's ok, but definitely not my favorite. It has a pretty grassy kind of taste, but a little milk and sugar smooths it out to be pretty nice. The hazelnut flavor does come through nicely, which is a plus.
This is the only tea I haven't been able to finish. It has a very metallic smell and taste, it just wasn't for me.
This tea is awful. Something has happened with the blend and it's just not the same. I first purchased a bag back in December and fell in love. (Which really surprised me because I'm not a huge fan of hazelnut.) The second bag I ordered smelled kind of 'fruity' with a harsh chemical/plastic overtones. There was not even a hint of hazelnut. And I swear it even looked different-- coarser, almost like bark. I returned that bag and requested a replacement-- same thing: disgusting tea. I actually steeped a cup the second time around, and blech-- it did not taste anything like that very first bag, and certainly not like hazelnut. I really hope they figure out what's going on because this has (or had) the potential to be a favourite tea.
I wasn't sure if I was going to like this tea, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The hazelnut flavoring is not overpowering like I feared it might be. It's got a great aroma and a very smooth, bold flavor. I'm really enjoying this flavor.
I purchased this tea because I love hazelnut, but I had never tried hazelnut tea (although, I am a huge hazelnut coffee fan). This just did not work for me. Not much else I can say.
Yummm the nuttiness of the honeybush with the added hazelnut flavor is to die for! It's so sweet on its own you barely need any sugar!
Got this as a free sample. I'm really more of a black tea person, but my boyfriend seemed to enjoy this well enough. He said the flavor wasn't quite strong enough, but again we're used to black teas.
Very nutty and creamy tasting, with a hint of sweetness. I found the hazelnut to be a bit overpowering, as I usually take my roobios without additional flavors, but enjoyable.

This is my first time trying a honeybush tea. On it's own, I was surprised by how bitter it tasted - not what I was expecting. It was better with a little sugar, but I didn't find the hazlenut flavor to be very pronounced.
