★★★☆☆

I liked this better than the plain rooibos, this tasted more like plain black tea. However, I have a green rooibos flavored tea or two that I really love over this (for example, green rooibos citron), and I would drink that before this. For plain black tea, I prefer decaf black vanilla. It's a bit more flavorful than this and is sweet from the vanilla. And still decaffeinated.

This seriously is an amazing base to everything. I use it for my kids and mix it in with the herbal mixes like strawberry, orange, mango, etc. This is amazing. You won't regret if you like aromatic good base for caffeine free tea.

Delicious tea. I decided that I like the green rooibos and not the red.

Excellent rooibos and blends very nicely with fruit or other herbal teas.

Green rooibos has a sweet, fresh hay flavor, and a little plain on its own. I think it would taste excellent over ice in the summer.

I always buy rooibos mixed with other herbs or fruits, but this time I was looking for something pure.

Delightfully grassy! This tea has a much more complex flavor than the plain rooibos. If you dislike the vanilla notes in rooibos, give this one a try.

I got a free sample so I thought i'd try it. I don't usually like green teas, its just not a flavor I enjoy. This tea isn't bad, just not my style.

The reviews on this are spot on. Very mellow and tastes similar to a green tea but without the bitterness. I'm getting a very definite honey taste, as if it was flavored with honey that somehow had its sweetness removed. It's sweet enough to stand on its own without any extra sugar, but not cloyingly so like honey would be. I am really looking forward to trying the green rooibos bonita now.

Green rooibos has the grassy aspect of green tea and little else. It's not unpleasant and with honey it's something I might get again in the future, but it's not my first pick.

Not a favorite but so much better than red rooibos! This lacks the medicinal flavors of the red and is more mellow and sweet. I'm not sure I would prefer this as a stand alone but would be wonderful mixed with other teas.

This was my most favorite rooibos tea. Loved it and highly recommend.

Green Rooibos is delicious, I love how it has the woody notes of the more familiar Red Rooibos, but with a straw and bamboo quality, along with honey sweetness.

A little bitter... weak something about it just ok

I prefer the lighter flavor of the green rooibos. I mix this with other flavors.

Has a natural woody/grass flavor with a slight sweetness but without any astringency. Liquor is a beautiful dark amber color. This would be an easy 'tea' for new tea drinkers to make, just boil the water and throw in the tea for 5 minutes and don't have to worry about astringency at all. Overall, a great cup to have late at night since it's caffeine free.

I usually use about 2 teaspoons for every cup.

Light, woodsy, and mellow. Not at all bitter. It blends extremely well with herbs or fruits. When the pound of roasted rooibos runs out, I'll get this instead!

I have never been a fan of red rooibos, but green rooibos is a whole new experience. It makes a great iced tea without the need for sweetener and has a pleasant aftertaste. By far my favorite decaf tea.

As a person who has been a Rooibos drinker for a while now, I am brand new to Green Rooibos. I have to say, it is really starting to overshadow the love I have for the red variety. The medicinal aspect is completely gone. It doesn't smell like tobacco (like I think the red rooibos does). It's just clear and clean and I really enjoy it!!

The flavor of this rooibos is extremely subtle. I wouldn't say it's exactly similar to green tea but there definitely is a more apparent grassy note than the citrus of regular rooibos. Sadly I like my tea more in my face, so this was a little lacking for me, but it was otherwise enjoyable.

Pretty good. It definitely tastes better with a bit of honey, but that may just be because I like my teas on the sweeter side. It does have a nice, light flavor though.

This is a wonderful very straightforward green tea. There is no other flavor to interfere with the green flavor and many times that is what you want. If so, this is a good choice.

I am really excited to find a GREEN Rooibus that I like. I want as much antioxidant benefit as possible and since the green variety are less processed/oxidized, then I feel it would offer the most bang for my buck. I tried some of the flavored Green Rooibos teas but they just didn't work out for me so I will stick with the unflavored option and perhaps play with different flavoring options on my own. -Happy Tea Drinker :-)

Surprisingly like green tea. Having had to stop drinking tea because the the oxalic acid and its contribution to my kidney stones, I did not think I would find another drink I enjoyed as much. This has a nice grassy topnote and there is no bitterness at all. If you are looking for a caffeine free alternative, I urge you to give this a try.

I wasn't sure I'd like this tea as I am not a huge fan of red rooibos. I took a chance and bought some and I have to say this is really great. It's a lot like a good green tea. No bitterness at all and it has a very lovely honey scent.

Rooibos and Honeybush are my favorite Herbal teas. Thought I would try the Green Rooibos and I must say that it is even better that the standard Rooibos. Great flavor. Since caffeine free it makes a for a great evening cup or tea, or for when ever.

I drink only green tea for ice tea, I drink mostly Rooibos for hot tea, this tea seemed like a match made in heaven for me. And it was indeed. delicious! I add a bit of Agave nectar to it and it is perfect. I will buy this tea again

It has mild flavor with a little sweetness to it. It may be a little weak for some but would mix well with other flavors. I like to drink this at night when I need a tea fix and don't want the caffeine.

Light, vegetal, and kind of like Chinese green tea without the astringency. I think it's a good afternoon tea. No sugar is needed, which is a plus in my book.

This tea was definitely more red that green which was good because I'm not to biggest fan of green teas. Would recommend to someone who leben red or its trying to get the freon to benefits but don't really care for the taste of green tea.

I got this a sample with my last order. I have to add one of the fruit blends or peppermint to the brew water to make it suited to my tastes. If you like unflavored stuff, it's probably fine. But for me, I have to add in something to pump up the flavor factor.

I tried this as a change from red rooibos for nighttime drinking. It has a very delicate flavor that is nice but not strong enough for me.

I expected this to taste more like rooibos, but it actually tastes very similar to green tea! It's not as flavorful as the red rooibos, which I like a little better, but it is much better than the red for blending, in my opinion.

We tried this as a sampler, and immediately ordered a bag of it because we enjoy this tea so much -- especially right before bed, when we want a quick tea fix but don't want the caffeine to keep us awake. (We save the Kukicha and other regular teas for during the day.)

Green rooibos is much better than red rooibos tea, I think. It needs some sort of other flavoring, though.
