I like green tea now and again...If you are a green tea lover, you'll like this tea
This natural sweetness and low tannin content ensure a smooth, never bitter brew that requires little if any, sweetener. Like red rooibos, it is also naturally caffeine-free and great plain or flavored, hot or iced for anytime enjoyment.

I like green tea now and again...If you are a green tea lover, you'll like this tea
I'm not sure if I'm a fan of this, although it is good. It tastes similar to your standard green tea.
not very good, doesn't taste anything like regular rooibos
Nice. It's my first green red tea, but I like it. I add to cold water and bring to a boil.
Best tea I have had so far from the Rooibos family, and suprisingly the closest (to me) to the actually flavor of Black tea. Buy this ASAP!
If you're looking for a more earthy tea but you still want to stay in the rooibos family then this is the tea for you! When I first opened the bag it came in it smelled very earthy and the brew was not a let down! It has a taste that I find similar to green tea but it still has the feel of a rooibos.
A little bland for my tastes but better than the red rooibos.
I love this one cold rather than the regular rooibos. I prefer to make this and put it in the fridge. This is my drink to have after a workout. It's refreshing.
I like rooibos, but this one wasn't super exciting.
Excellent tea brewed cold or hot. I think I enjoy this more cold which was very unexpected.
A nice, mild grassy flavor. I never drink it completely on its own but often use 3 scoops of Green Rooibos along with 1 of Assam Melody for a mild but refreshing ice tea.
This was my first non-flavored rooibos tea. In general I've had a tough time finding a green tea I love completely. This was excellent and I will buy this in a larger size on a regular basis. It tasted like a more mellow green tea, slightly earthy but not overwhelming. I like this mostly at night since it has no caffeine.
I second what other reviewers have said about this being a great substitute for green tea. It's especially nice when I want green tea without any caffeine.
Will definitely try this again. Interesting--less sweet than regular rooibos.
im still acclimating to this tea. i like its grassy flavor because it tastes like green but has no caffeine, meaning i can drink it before bed. it has a great flavor and is an interesting texture.
'Green' doesn't mean that it tastes grassy. It means it's not quite as aged as regular rooibos.
This is a good everyday tea. I like to drink it with stevia and a little non-fat milk. It's a good green tea alternative
Gift for a friend. Arrived promptly. Sounds Good!
I love rooibos and my mom loves green tea, so I figured I'd try this out and we both love it! Add a splash of vanilla to really kick it up!
A great green tea with lots of health benefits. Try it!
I prefer the green rooibos over the regular red rooibos. This green rooibos is nice and smooth and caffeine free. I like the flavor green rooibos instead.
I ordered samples of several different teas and this was hands-down my favorite.
Very smooth and mellow. not all that different from drinking green tea actually.
Much different than the red rooibos, which is what I usually get. To me taste more nuttier and sweet
I had expectations that this would be similar to red roobios in that it would be naturally very sweet. Wrong! This has a flavor profile more like green tea than anything else. It's a fantastic alternative to caffeinated tea in the evening. The best part is it tastes like regular tea instead of an herbal!
I love the flavor of this one. Lightly sweet and earthy. The flavor kind of hits me as of drinking green tea.
I really enjoyed this. If I didn't have any regular Rooibos, I would drink this instead.
Didn't really notice much difference between green and red rooibos. i guess you could say the green was more vegetal. Good but not life changing.
Great flavor! This also makes really good iced tea.
I'm really not much of an expert on rooibos teas. I've tried a few of the reds, but generally shy away from fermented foods and beverages, so when I learned about Green Rooibos I decided to try it. I use it primarily as an occasional medicinal addition to my chamomile tea, just when I need a little something extra. It seems to have a bit of a medicinal flavor actually, which doesn't bother me but may take some getting-used-to for others. I have a good feeling about it when I drink it, but don't necessarily recommend it for its taste alone.
Not bad! I ordered a sample size because I enjoy plain red rooibos and was a bit curious. Definitely has a different flavor. very strong notes of honey, with a tiny bit of grassiness. Almost no bitterness at all. I may sample some of the fruit blends the next time I order more tea.
This may just be me, but I do not care for the flavor of straight green rooibos. I have plans to experiment with blending it though.
I was in the market for a naturally decaffeinated tea. I had purchased other rooibos and found them entirely too sweet.I am an avid black tea drinker, but have started to cut out caffeine due to pregnancy. This green rooibos is smooth and pleasant without being overly sweet in my opinion. I will order this again without a doubt.
Most of the time, red rooibos is too medicinal for me, but I've always found the green rooibos blends to be pleasant. The green rooibos plain is absolutely lovely and grassy. I blended it with some of my own dried lime zest, which heightened the citrusy notes. It also enhanced some of the bitter notes, but I liked that. All in all this is a lovely herb that is a wonderful canvas for other flavors.
Great for and evening cup of tea to accompany a light dinner.
ive tried a cup of this with a friend a while back and figured to order this on my own. this is nice even if you really arent a fan of rooibos but crave something with a green tea flavor but with out the caffeine.
This is indeed a less astringent rooibos. Its grassy, herbal flavor is a lot like that of green tea without the bitterness, which I think would make it a good alternative for green-tea drinkers who are trying to cut down their caffeine intake or who want a similar-tasting tea before bed. This seems like it would be super tasty with jasmine rooibos or a number of other teas, so I'll have to try it out in some blends I'm going to reformulate.
Compared to red rooibos, the green variety smells brighter out of the bag and tastes more earthy and a little grassy, yet still a tiny bit sweet. It makes a good nightcap and would probably taste excellent iced.
This herbal tea is grassy and, well, herbal. I like it as a caffeine free alternative to green tea that has similar, but not identical, flavor notes.
Sappier than the original rooibos blend Adagio offers, I enjoyed the extra zip green rooibos provides. This has a grassy quality just like the more oxidized brother, but a tad brighter in overall tone.
All in all, this blend just proves my new love for rooibos infusions.
WOW! I've been trying to explore rooibos a bit more. The red rooibos is a bit of love-hate relationship for me. There are some flavors I like, most I don't (so far), and plain red rooibos is one that I have to have milk in to enjoy. But this green rooibos is AH. MAZE. ING. I really love the woody tone to its natural honey flavor. I was a bit skeptical, but I decided to try it for my free sample with an order, and I am pleasantly surprised. Aww yiiissss. I love finding new favorites!
A really nice green rooibos, and I drink it regularly as a non-caffeinated alternative to black tea. Very mellow even if you oversteep it. Delicious.
I really loved this tea just tasted refreshing too me and made my body feel great for some reason
This tea is like honey in a cup! I was an initial skeptic of red rooibos, citing that it tastes too much like medicine. That flavor is lessened slightly in the green rooibos blend, and it much nuttier rather than floral. Like I said, this tea has smooth notes of honey coupled with a bright green, citrus flavor. This might be a nice caffeine-free blend for those of you who favor green teas. Surprised at how nice this was on its own.
High quality of course. The tea is earthy and has a bark/twig taste. If you like rooibos it is worth a try.
Tastier than I thought it would be, to be honest! Has that signature earthy rooibos taste but isn't as dark in flavor as the red rooibos.
Very grass/earthly compared to the red rooibos, comparable to yerba mate in taste. It's ok but I'd prefer to stick with mate and get my caffeine.
This has a very delicate flavor and is really great mixed with almond milk and honey.
This is a nice, clean, uncomplicated tea. Great for those on a detox. Might be better with just a touch of honey.
Not that different from green tea! I find that it is herbal and grassy for me to enjoy, yet has the perk of being a fine choice at any hour! would definitely recommend.
